We're at least hitting the ball hard, which always annoys me when I hear other people say it, but after last night I'll take what I can get. Feels like we can eventually string something together tonight.

I want to win a World Series championship as much as anyone … but I’m not stressing over losing to the Dodgers because they have far better, more experienced players.

While I’m not “satisfied” with the best record in baseball or a division title, winning the series over the Cubs made this a successful season for me. Anything more will be icing on a delicious cake.

As I’ve posted on several occasions …

Once the season ends, I look forward to trading Freddy for a few quality prospects

He’s been a good player, great personality, loyal teammate … but I don’t trust him - especially in big games like this one

Yep. Get what you can for him.

Agreed, it was great to run the Cubs out of here and you take what you can get against the team with 3x the payroll as the Brewers.

The Brewers are swinging at everything whether it's in the zone or not.

Except the ones actually in the zone.

Guys are wound too tight.   Swinging at junk.  Dodgers pitchers will attack that weakness.

Seems like they had a strategy of being aggressive. It's kiiiind of worked, as Chourio jumped on the first pitch for a homer and they've been hitting the ball hard, but obviously the trade off is that they aren't making the pitcher work.

Those arent strikes guys

Let's not start the whole "bad umpiring" thing already.

Durbin sat there like a mook and watched a perfectly pitched strike 3 without even a notion to maybe swing at it.

Pretty sure they are talking about the Brewers swinging at pitches that aren't strikes

They're not criticizing the umps, they're criticizing Durbin for swinging at balls, then not swinging at a strike.

Not sure that’s in reference to the umps but to the players

Do you ever make a post that isn’t deliberately provocative?

He’s obviously pointing out that we are chasing bad pitches.

Brewers have a 58% chase rate through 2 innings.

We are not playing like the team that was dominating in the middle of the season.    Play your game

It's too early to start making excuses.

We all get 4 balls and 3 strikes.

They all are highly skilled, (and paid) professional athletes.
