Will Sheppard got cut, so get ready for another exciting season of the most pointless player in football, Bo Melton.

I hear You. But, the org absolutely loves what he stands for. I mean he willingly switched to CB last season for need. ST core player. Whether we like it or not he is a huge member of the culture and locker room desired criteria. They have Moore for Sheppard's role and Sturdivant is the rosterable big upside WR.

Every org has Naylors and Sheppards it seems every summer. Very hard to crack rosters as fringe WR. Hope they come back to the PS!

Did he even end up playing a single snap at CB?

Great ?. I don't think so? And if he did, certainly not many. I do remember he shifted back to an emergency fill-in WR role with the same stone hands he's always had.🤣

Keep in mind that they have cut all of the long snappers before only to resign one a day later after they put someone on IR in order to keep an extra player at another position without exposing them to waivers. Seems unlikely that Ozrech is ready to go.

Could be a way to try to keep Sturdivant or Campbell.

McCord traded to the Dolphins for the 2028 sixth round pick they got from Jacksonville in trading for Quinn Ewers.

Seems like a mistake to me. Let's hope Love doesn't miss any playing time this year.

He wasn’t going to make it over Taylor. Obviously he wasn’t going to clear waivers. It is what it is

Bears apparently soured on former 2nd round pick Gervon Dexter, trading him to the Falcons for a 5th round pick and a former 4th round CB who played in 1 game last year and has started 7 games in 3 seasons, five of them in his 2023 rookie season.

I don’t think Jacobs is going to play another snap as a Packer after being placed on the commissioner exempt list.

Really had your pulse on the situation yesterday, didn’t you Matt.

Jacobs cannot play or practice while on that list but would still be paid. I think the Packers would cut him in that scenario before paying him not to play.

The good news is this isn’t like losing Bijan Robinson or even Derrick Henry, Jacobs looked kind of washed at various points last season.

The bad news is they really didn’t do anything to address this possibility, unless you think Lloyd and Kaleb Johnson are going to be the answer.

Matt picked up a couple backup TEs for jet sweeps.

It's January 31, 2027. Micah Parsons has been out for a month with a sore hamstring and Kaleb Johnson has 6 carries for 2 yards.

But fear not. J. Michael Sturdivant just hauled in a 28-yard touchdown pass with :37 left in the 4th quarter of the NFC Championship.

The NFL didn't do that yesterday.

If Wilson were still on the roster I'd kind of shrug over this. He looked more explosive to me anyway. I still don't know why they just cast him off without really anyone behind them. They must really believe in somebody.

Yes. Meaning Matt’s anticipation was in fact, completely wrong.

I see that you expect him to have a crystal ball.

Your expectations are fairly high.

No, I do in fact though expect the coaching staff to have a better feel for a potential major personnel situation than the general public has, so they can make potential moves in anticipation of it.

Or you know, at least not publicity comment like you do know if you in fact have no idea.
