Megill should be relegated to setup man at this point.

There’s two dudes that are far better

Arnold usually gets it right but Megill should have been moved

They did try to trade him just no one was interested.

Using an opener and still blowing through your entire bullpen is not ideal. Been a tough few days of pitching management.

But can't blame Murphy for the quality of hitters we currently have in the back half of our lineup.

I agree with what was said earlier. His arm broke, they had to hope he could come back strong. He hasn't.

Megill hasn’t been right since his DL stint at the end of last year. He was touching 101 regularly, now is only sitting at about 98 max. He may be washed at this point.

I dont believe that

You don't think other teams are aware of the major health concerns Megill has with his arm?

The organization shell game of proven talent for young guys shows up when you have injury and depth is non existent. Murphy isn't exactly Billy Martin so he's struggling. You have to play Sanchez every day pretty much. Stick Bauers or Yelich in left and have legit bats in there.

I think there is always at least one team willing to give something for a "proven closer." Even if that thing is modest.

Megill was lazy and stupid. I know you aren’t supposed to leave them out there but I would have.  I can’t stand lazy and dumb and anybody who does that deserves whatever embarrassment he gets.  5 runs no outs.  4 had to be earned.

And then Uribe is my permanent closer.

It was obvious before today, frankly.

Not if his arm is gone, which was pretty clear from all reports.

But no teams did.  The Brewers made  available in the offseason.
