Did anything happen with Henderson in the 4th there?

Following on Gameday and said there was an injury delay. He stayed in to face the next batter before being taken out. I know he's been on a limited up-downs/pitchout schedule to start the season, but curious if I should brace for potentially another injury.

He was stretching out his right quad after walking the first batter. After the second batter, the trainer and coach came out, and it seemed like Logan was insisting to keep pitching. He threw a few warm up pitches and then faced the next batter, and didn't seem to be struggling/laboring at all. As soon as he got that batter out, Sweet came out immediately to replace him.

Didn't seem like anything too serious. Seems like he may have tweaked something, and then they let him face one more batter (to reach a pitch count?), and then took him out as a precautionary.

With today's dinger, Lara has more home runs this year (3) than all of last year (2). One more to tie his career high!

Pitching at Charlotte has to be one of the worst places to pitch in pro baseball. No humidor because it's AAA and just laughably small park dimensions.

Tyler Black's check swing foul liner gets on-deck circle resident Brock Wilken right in the helmet and thankfully Brock's OK after getting checked out. Wilken's odd association with weird injuries almost had another entry!

The AA Shuckers host Angels’ affiliate Rocket City this week, with RHP Ryan Birchard (9 IP, 5 R (4 ER), 3 H, 13 BB, 12 Ks) ready for his 4th outing of 2026. From the Game Notes, “Jesus Made enters today among the Southern League leaders in hits (1st, 21), triples (1st, 3), extra-base hits (T-2nd, 9), average (6th, .333), OPS (6th, 1.019), stolen bases (T-6th, 7) and on-base percentage (10th, .432).”

Low-A Wilson play 6 games at Orioles’ affiliate Delmarva this week, with 19-year old RHP Miqueas Mercedes (3.65 ERA, 1.86 WHIP, 10.9 K/9 in 12.1 IP) starting tonight. Sunday walk-off hero CF Jose Anderson leads the Carolina League in RBIs (18), but also strikeouts (31 in 63 PAs).

DH/C Marco Dinges (.955 OPS in 41 PAs) may have exited after only 2 innings for High-A Wisconsin on Sunday, but he’s right back in the lineup as they open their series at Padres’ affiliate Fort Wayne. RHP Travis Smith (8.2 IP, 5 R, 7 H, 2 BB, 7 Ks) is set for his 3rd appearance (2nd start) of 2026.

I don't know what the TRats team OPS is, but it's probably pretty good.

Braylon Payne is awesome.

After trading Yoph last year the outfield cupboards were BARE after Lara. Moving Josh to left and having Payne come out so strong to start this year makes me feel a lot better about the outfield funnel.

Who is more worrying- Wilken, J. Williams, or Pratt??

Birchard - if he can limit walks he can be so good.  I see a bullpen move for him to try to use his arsenal and give max effort in shorter stints.

Braylon Payne hit a 109 mph nuke. We should all take a moment to appreciate the shot and the Tin Caps glowing broadcast:

Eric Bitonti also ripped his second tater. Yay! I continue to absolutely love his swing:
