I mean i get the power but he's a 1st round pick from college. I think he should be able to hit 280 with some doubles. He's not being productive at all.

How does a soft groundout to 3rd suit you?

He doesn't hit the ball hard enough to consistently hit .280.  Even his expected BA last year was .255, xSLG% was .339 and xwOBA was .299.  He can run and play defense.  Great 4th outfielder but we're using him as a starting corner OF and that's just horrible,

The old 10 runs then nothing curse strikes again.

Seeems like every time we score 10 or more the next game is 2 or less.

Plate discipline is nonexistent. You need baserunners and guys just refuse to let them have to pitch to them.

A little discipline goes a long way.

Bauers fast start is quickly cooling off.

Color me shocked that a 30 year old below replacement level career player with over 2,000 PAs is still in fact that exact same player.

Bauers is alright as a bench player: has some power, can play a few spots defensively, runs ok. He just shouldn’t be playing everyday.

The bigger criticism is the Brewers’ bungled 40 man roster with 11 OFers and no true first basemen outside Bauers. Plus, more than half those outfielders bring the same skill profile.

Yes, a whole bunch of Tyler Black's until we get Chourio and Yelich back.

I think it hurts us more than we realize that Yelich doesn’t play the outfield much anymore. Sanchez has been one of our best hitters and he doesn’t really have a spot when Yelich returns. He’s obviously not going to play over Contreras and he’s too much of a hack to play at 1st even in a pinch.

Maybe they can split time @ DH being that Sanchez bats right handed and Yelich left handed.

If he performs like he did last year Vaughn will be a massive boost to the lineup.

Second half of the season he was arguably our most valuable offensive player.
