The Tigers broadcast showed Skubal chucking things in the dugout. Certified Brewers woodpecker moment.

This has to be a monumentally frustrating team to play.  I know I get repetitive but I would hate the Brewers if I weren't a fan of theirs. 😅

I have really had some really good mojo recently when I call out a guy for stinking with the bat they have had a good game or at least gotten a hit.

I think most of us had the same thought.  An hour ago I was questioning what Matos is even on the roster.

I know the numbers on the 3rd time through the order are what they are for most starters but at some point you've got to let Sproat throw more than 75 pitches.  Preferably before Asby et al start having their arms fall off.

It’s early in the season.  The plan is to have Sproat available later in the year.  So innings and pitch limits are in place now so he can be available in September and later.  Otherwise he is going to turn into Manny Parra and be done by August.

It's comforting to know there are some things that will just never change, like Mitchell striking out on a FB at the top of the zone.

I don’t know what we saw in Zerpa, but he’s been a very poor return on investment so far.

Those big GIDPs by Turang and Contreras with chances to break the game open loom large right now.

Not enough strikes. Too many pitches. Dangerous

Another consequence of going to the pen early today when there was very little reason to remove the starter.

Zerpa's struggled so far, but neither Collins nor Mears are lighting the world on fire. I guess we'll see.

Been an extremely weird game so far. In the aggregate, I'd say the Brewers are lucky to be tied, but it's also felt like they should have 8 runs.

Bunt why?

I mean I’m not a big sac bunt guy at all but it’s Luis Rengifo. Better take what you can get.

Just too many tailor made GIDP in big situations today. The one with Contreras up and Turang not running is especially frustrating because it was bad baseball and entirely preventable.

You hit into as many dp as this team you can't give out away.

It's been bad today, but coming into the game they were tied for the fewest grounded into double plays in baseball:

I would also like to have a bullpen that is available later in the year and September and later.
