I sure hope not, Super 2 is an unknown date to begin with, when trying to consider the new CBA that can be August.

You have a pretty good idea when Super 2 is. June is probably safe, but June 10th would clear any Super 2 going back the last several years.

Only shot Blake had was to stand there with the bat on his shoulders for the entire AB and pray for a lack of command and that’s exactly what he did.

Murphys white flag came too soon

The players who came in because of the white flag have literally all gotten on base this inning lol

Jett has been a below average hitter in AAA so far this year with a .298 xwOBA. His .347 OBP is only one point better than the International League average of .346 this season.

Agree, if Jett hit up here like his AAA #'s after a week everyone would be calling for Murphy's job and trust me he won't hit better than Nashville.

Pitching wise. Woodford killed them.

You wanted him to use one of the leverage guys down 3 runs with 2 runners on base? It was either Woodford or one of the three leverage guys.

Well if he did he would be winning wouldn't he?

You think the Giants make the same pitching decisions up 6-3 that they did up 12-3?

Don't know but like I said Woodford is the white flag and it was early.

If Hamilton gets a hit, the Brewers will win.

Narrator: He did not.

Well at least we know Frelick is good at something and that something is grounding out but hey at least he battles up there and doesn’t strike out a lot!

The Giants had a 93.1% win probability when Woodford came in and the choices were Woodford or Ashby, Uribe, Megill. You would have complained if Murphy used his A pen there and Brewers don't come back because the Giants actually use their A pen

In hindsight, white flagging your way to 12 runs allowed with a fresh pen was a pretty piss poor idea.

Not according to some here. I guess you play to win the game tomorrow.

Like I said to Bulldog. The Brewers were down 6-3 in the 7th inning with 2 runners on and 0 outs when Woodford came in. The only other available relievers were the three leverage guys. You think they should have gone to Ashby in that situation?

Allowing him to give up 6 runs was not necessary unless you punted the game which is my point in the first place.

Your point doesn't make sense. The second batter he faced hit a HR to make it 10-3. So either you think Murphy should have used a leverage arm when the Giants had a 93% win probability in the 7th inning or you think Murphy should have pulled Woodford for a leverage arm after the Giants went up 10-3 and had a 99.9% win probability?
