Cleveland is in dire need of an OF, He's blocked here, Lockridge will be back soon and Lara is likely ahead of him, Seems like we could get someone at the bottom of their top 30 list or maybe a A ball pitcher which they seem to be good at drafting.

I remember three years ago when Frelick played his first major league game and it probably was one of the better debuts in Brewers history, generated a ton of buzz. Now Akil Baddoo is preferred over him, quite the downfall.

Brewers absolutely have a logjam of MLB OFs right now and the "problem" is only going to get worse. They should definitely be flipping these for pitchers, catching prospects, or a short-term 3B power bat. If they can get a decent return on Frelick or Badoo, you take it.

They need to find a home for Lockridge, Lara, Braylon Payne, Adamczewski, Ragsdale and more

No idea yet where Fischer or Burke end up.

I would rather trade Frelick to be honest.

I don't know if Frelick has a future here but the Brewers are not ones to sell low.

Is Frelick out of Options?  If not, send him down so he can figure it out.  Bring up Baddoo.  He is prime for a Quantum Leap player.  Let’s go!

Sal was at 199 PA of 214/284/295 (62 wRC+) with an 8.5 BB% and 10.6 K% through the end of May.

Since June Sal is hitting 310/396/405 (130 wRC+) with a 12.5 BB% and 8.3 K% over 48 PA. Small sample for sure, but don't see the Brewers optioning Sal when he is showing some signs of life.

I remember last year when he hit .288, top 10, put up a .355 OBP and was an elite defender and had a 3.6 WAR. Not exactly a star, but... one person said they preferred Akil Baddoo over him.

I'm pretty confident that they're not selling Frelick for pennies on the dollar now.

I'd also argue "quite the downfall," is... VERY premature.

I doubt we would get much more than cash considerations or a like 21 year old in rookie ball.

I would prefer to trade Sal and get a decent reliever back.
