The manager isn't good. I don’t want to start trouble but he's just not great. Sorry. Credit for what he's done but we need a game manager not a inspirational speaker.

And people on Twitter are freaking out that he pinch hit for Frelick, one of the hottest hitters when you had Pratt and Hamilton(or Ortiz) coming up.

But can someone correct me here... I feel like I'm going crazy, did the Brewers not make 4 outs last inning?

Vaughn grounded into a FC.
Pratt hit into a Double play
And then Ortiz struck out...

Pratt did not hit into a DP. He just bunted in front of the plate and Bauers was caught off third.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Pratt wasn't a DP

At some point Murphy is going to realize there's no platoon advantage pinch hitting Ortiz for Hamilton and all you're doing is wasting a bench player.

I guess, but Ortiz is a bench player that should only replace one player, Hamilton.

 * Not saying I expected a better result from that Oriz at-bat.

Pratt was a FC. Bauers thrown out trying to go back to third on the safety squeeze

Pratt popped up the bunt. Bauers was thrown out because it was a safety squeeze. The play before the pitcher didn't get over to 1B and Perdomo didn't throw the ball. We HAD an out at 2B.

And Ortiz struck out...

Oh, ok. I thought he popped the bunt up.

That makes sense. I was sure he popped it up(I'm not watching super close).

Really thought I saw that rare circumstance where everyone misses the obvious like Colorado in the early 90s getting 5 downs to get a 1st down... but nope, just didn't realize Pratt  didn't pop it up.

Why take a few pitches to give Turang a chance to get in scoring position when you can just swing at a first pitch plenty high fastball and fly out?

I don't want to ever hear Murphy talk about "win today" crap when he continues to trot Yelich out as our leadoff hitter every day. You can't say you care about winning with this guy hitting above 7 in the batting order.

This is what you do with Yelich.   Sit him out for a week or two what ever the injury rules are.     When he comes back from rest usually does some decent work.    Then when he starts sucking again.  Then put him back on injured list and repeat the cycle.   Maybe that’s the only way to get anything positive for the rest of career

You have to wonder why Yelich doesn't go in to the manager and say hey skip move me down in the order. I don’t think I'm helping anyone like this. Be a team first guy.

Yelich isn't slumping, this is just who he is now. 90% of his at bats end in a walk, strikeout or a rollover to the right side.

His swing needs to be reworked.

He needs to adjust to his diminishing physical skills and the old swing is not going to work anymore

I said it the other night and got qestioned but the sloppy play just continues.  That is on Murphy.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Has any player ever just gone to the manager and admitted they suck?
