There’s the lead off man getting on base.

and stealing second.

And advancing to third

Can any hitters in the middle of the order drive anyone in?

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

All Yelich’s fault. He needed to hit a HR.

At least they made progress toward getting Perez out of the game.

Yelich didn't even attempt to get back, he must have thought there were 2 outs.

You can’t be serious about that.

Team just missing that rbi bat you can count on. Arnold said he made deals with Houston because he gets along with the gm there. Call about Alvarez and make everyone available except Miz Made and Chourio.

Man just a tough break. Basically no chance for Yelich to get back regardless.

At least Pérez is likely done. Hopefully the pen can keep it at a 1 run deficit and we can score off their pen

Unless if it was a hit and run, he should not have been running to the plate because if it was a hit he would have scored easily.

Vaughn needs to get more than a 5 degree launch angle on that.  Even at 10 or 15 degrees that is either 3-1 Brewers or 2-1 Brewers.

Perez walks Yelich, hits Chourio on the next pitch, throws it in the outfield, and then down 2-0 Turang bails him out by swinging at ball 3 in the dirt.  He got a some composure back after that, changed the inning.  Also a little bad luck with Vaughn.

A ball hit that hard? I don’t think he gets back.

He gets back EZ if he wasn't running to home. Remember there was only 1 out at the time.

I’d have to go back and look. I thought he got way too far off the base.
