One HR doesn't really cancel anything out. Yelich hit a HR on Friday. 

He does play the field, but he's legitimately been replacement level over the last month plus. His game calling has left a lot to be desired. He's costing us basically as much as Yelich.

He was hitting .315 as a lefty against RHP in the minors. Identical .429 OBP to the other side , just with less power. Seems to be a perfectly legitimate switch hitter.

One of the reasons the younger pitchers have performed so well is the leadership provided by Contreras

The only one who can replace Contreras is Sanchez, and you don’t really want him playing every day.

It's in the Murphy law. You can't hit same handed pitching if you are a switch hitter. 🤷

Also, we can expect Contreras to get his swing back sooner or later. I don’t have confidence that Yelich will. I hope he does though.

Thats a soft mentality.   Instinctually, he should be getting to first by any means necessary.  Anyone who has ever played any sport has had to collide with someone bigger.  And there wouldn't even have been a collision on that play.  He avoided a small possibility of a collision by accepting an out.

I know it doesn't matter but burning your last challenge in a game you are losing 3-0 on the defensive side with 2 outs and nobody on is so dumb. Why is this team so bad with challenges?
