Fredericksburg still up to their old tricks keeping around players forever. Tonight's start for them is 24 years old and has a 3.39 ERA with a nearly 3:1 K:BB ratio.

Their pitcher starting tomorrow is a 23 year old who played in the Complex for the whole season despite having a 39 ERA-, 58 FIP-, and 68 xFIP-.

Tonight Fredericksburg is starting someone born in 2002. Wilson is starting someone born in 2006.

Fredericksburg is starting two 07, one 04, one 02, four 06, and one 03 birth year in their lineup. Wilson is starting one 06, seven 07, and one 08 birth year.

The age gap between these two teams tonight is absurd. By birth year Fredericksburg's lineup and starter are 21.1 years old while Wilson's lineup and starter are 19.1 years old.

That whole group is primed to explode. Holding their own against pitchers 4-5-6 years older than them almost every night.

Having deja vu looking at these Moneys' and Matos' stat lines on a daily basis. Reminds me of another pair to come out of the Dominican Republic during the same signing period. 🤔

Dont forget Frontada as a top line guy and then plenty of others in the Jose Anderson/Juan Ortuno style.

Luis Pena pinch hit for again... starting to really raise my brows.

Looked awkward running down the line on his groundout in the first. Guessing it's his hamstring still not feeling right.

When Fredericksburg’s starting pitcher (currently 24 yo) was their age (18), Antunez/Frias/Mayorquin were 12 years old 😳

Wow. The Warbirds had exactly two players play tonight who were 20 (Ibarguen and Espinal), and the FredNats had exactly 2 players play tonight who were under 20 (19 year old Gavin Fien and Coy James).  Just wild the age difference.
