It's so strange that as players get old they basically make no adjustments to compensate for that age. Yelich is still using hands up high approach when his bat speed is molasses

Sadly, Christian Yelich has become the Brewers version of Orioles Chris Davis. His contract “requires” that he plays & his playing hurts the team.

I hope Milwaukee chooses to hold onto their top prospects if they can’t sit him down. There is no trade or trades we can make that will help us win a World Series with Yelich in the lineup.

Imagine that, Rollover rolls over on yet another one. Many have questioned why Yelich is batting so high in the order, I am one of those. I know Murphy won't ever sit Yelich for a long stretch, so it's just venting by me.

With an excessive vertical launch point causing an elongated swing path. 

Bauer should work with him on his swing.

He could be required to play.  On the other hand, they could embrace the sunk cost theory.

Ok, if this is true, and he is required to play, then he needs to be moved to the bottom third of the order at the very least.  Having him hit 1-4 is asinine at this point. 5-6 is pretty stupid too.

I have accepted that he will play this year. That’s why I believe it is a waste of talent to make any “all in” type trades. 

I hope that management makes the brave choice this offseason to release Yelich, eat the final two years of his albatross contract, & play a young prospect in his place once the lockout ends & the season begins.

I truly believe we have a five year window as a premier MlB contender starting next season.
