As much as the rational fan in me thought “hey skubal is the only guy worth trading meaningful prospects for and now that our biggest competitor added him instead we might as well sit this one out”… I’m getting antsy. Give me an injured pitcher to dream on at least. 😂

I am entirely indifferent to the final outcome of today. When you are rolling with the 'Power of Friendship' and pocket pancakes as the ethos...where are you going to find that kind of mojo?!? Clay Holmes and a charm bracelet? That'd cost an extra top 10 guy - maybe two!

The Brewers better not sit by idly.  Watching (I use that term very loosely) the NLCS last year & seeing the Brewers bats DEAD and overmatched is not something I will endure again.

Now that nearly half the MLB qualifies for the playoffs the teams sitting within a few games of the 6th spot in each league will behave more aggressively.

The Padres played themselves back into the race recently and they didn't have too many tradeable assets other than Morejon. They can always trade Mason Miller next year.
