Brewers Gold might get a fortunate win today. They were up 3-2 entering the 9th inning. They gave up 2 runs in the Top of the 9th to fall behind 3-4. The game is currently in a rain delay in the bottom of the 9th. If the game gets called they would win 3-2 in 8 innings.

How often do the Brewers have players skip Single A ball all together?

Off the top of my head, I can only think of Wilken.

Wilken, Boeve, Burke, Fischer all skipped the Carolina League.

2nd round draft pick RF Sawyer Strosnider sees his first action in the Brewers’ organization as High-A Wisconsin open their series at Twins’ affiliate Cedar Rapids. 20-year old RHP Jayden Dubanewicz (5.01 ERA in 41.1 High-A IP) tossed 3 shutout innings of relief last week.

Spencer is much higher on B. Ebel than pretty much everyone. I am still skeptical but he is still young obviously.

I am with Spencer. He is such a fantastic baseball player and we are only scratching the surface here. It is also speculated his brother comes into org ball with a more refined offensive game. The leap Brady has made since first Low-A AB's late last summer should excite each and every one of us. He really just projects to be oh so smooth.

You have him top 5 in the organization?

I don't do rankings. BUT, I would have zero issue with seeing Brady Ebel ranked that high. He is a fantastic baseball player.
