Well, they got the 6 before the second out.  You might have underestimated them today.  At this rate, they will save the pen, but maybe not the position player who takes the mound in the 8th.

Luckily Sanchez got an off day yesterday

Even though he made an out that’s the exact adjustment and approach I was hoping to see Lara make. Be more aggressive early in the count and put a good rip on one. That will lead to more success if they continue to throw him strikes early in counts.

I left Kirby in for fantasy today with part of the logic being to try and make something like this happen.  so ya'll can thank me for this one

The jinx is real!  Joshua Baez is like 1-22 since I picked him up.

Seattle going to burn some arms leading into the Cubs series. Hopefully none of their 'good' ones.

Kinda hoping they just leave Kirby out there to wear one for the next 5 innings

Nice to join late to a 6-0 lead!

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

The most reassuring thing about this series is that we didn't trade for any of Seattle's arms.

I am thinking that maybe, just MAYBE, pancakes has figured out that JOEY deserves to play......A LOT!

Imagine saying that six weeks ago.

Joey wouldn't be on the roster if the critics had their way.

I don't fault anyone for thinking Joey needed something else. Very different than other critical comments

The daily lineup would be set on whatever happened in the last at-bat of the previous game 🤣

Not true, we’d have Will Castro

To be fair, he was terrible. It wasn't controversial to be looking for someone else at SS or 3B. I don't think anyone's complaining about his resurgence.

The effort delta between Milwaukee and Seattle is striking. A little light jogging by the outfielders and Mitchell has the extra base on a play that wasn't even close.
