I kind of want to watch Kade Anderson's MLB debut tomorrow against the Cubs.

Be nice if he just makes them look silly...

Do we, as a group, truly understand how lucky we are to have a generational talent in the Miz on this roster right now?

I mean, seriously, do any of us just sit in awe of this guy every time he takes the mound?

You just can't take a phenom like this for granted, it's flabbergasting how good this guy really is!

It's August 21st and the dude basically has the Cy locked down. It's insane.

You don't know how long it's going to last and it's a big reason why I was a proponent of an aggressive deadline despite the loss of valuable prospects.

One point I made in the gamethread/extended Lara thread yesterday was that his defense has really improved since he first came up.

Early on he often looked uncomfortable. Bad jumps, bad angles. You could tell he was still getting used to MLB type speeds and the AmFam outfield.

I have faith his bat will improve as well. He’s a work in progress but he already plays as an adequate MLB starter and you can see the tools for more,

I believe his early defensive struggles were because he was playing in RF in much bigger ballparks after spending all his minor league career in CF

It will be sad to see him in a Dodgers uniform in five years.

You think you can hurt me? I watch Wisconsin sports. You can't hurt me.

That’s part of it. But you’re also dealing with higher exit velocities, different launch angles, more speed. It was a little bit of an adjustment for Pratt, too.

Thus far, if they would've told them to never swing at the slider they'd have helped themselves quite a bit.  Not sure if one has landed in the zone that I've seen

Let’s see if they can even afford to pay Ohtani his deferred money after their massive debt scandal plays out.

Crazy thing is that I would not say that today is one of his best performances.

Really don’t want to be walking the 9 hitter on 4 pitches to get to Acuna and the rest of the top of the Braves order.

When is Romero available? I assume that Kuhnel is probably healthy-ish and just not going to crack the roster at this point.  What ever happened to Koenig?

Interesting … explain different launch angles … I agree on the other things you listed

Why do I spontaneously start sweating all over my body when I see the word "Kuhnel"?

That was a heckuva throw.

Rookie learned a lesson about a big league outfield arm right there.

There’s not many big league outfield arms that are making that throw,

That was just a perfect throw.
