Brewers (Misiorowski) vs Orioles (Young): 9/20/26, 6:20pm

Won’t read the thread…….I’m sure it’s filled with wisdom…….

My main take from the game………DLfreaking Hall…….and Mitchell’s defense saved the game.

I was not a fan of pitching a guy lost and searching for confidence in a leverage situation to see what would happen.

I know our magic number for the bye was only 2 but when your ahead 3-0 in the 7th and the bye is not yet clinched manage to win the game.

I don’t 2nd guess often but I didn’t like the decision at all.

Win number 98 baby…….100 in sight!

Last year's 97 wins included 14, 11, and 8 game win streaks.  

This year's 98 wins and counting have not had a streak greater than 5.  Incredible consistency.

Only saw from the 6th inning on so I'll comment on what I saw from there:

DL Hall is past simply being on a roll. He's steamrollin'. Rock n' rollin'. Whatever other cliche you want to use. Damn did he look good.

Pratt is just playing like such a veteran right now. More & more you see why they wanted to lock him up. And we can also see why Lara (at least for now) is relegated to doing his highlight stuff mostly from RF. Mitchell was masterful w/the glove tonite.

I didn't have a problem with using Harrison when they did. Still, it doesn't look like he's a starting candidate in October & there are other LHPs ahead of him in the pen. It appears his cromulence for '26 has pretty much run out after a terrific 1st half.

I actually kinda liked listening to Ben Sheets. Or maybe I'm just in a good mood after seeing a Gene Brabender card displayed on a national telecast.

Ben McDonald but you were close because he was a Brewer in the 90's.

Ben McDonald? Ironically, both Sheets & McDonald grew up just outside Baton Rouge LA in Denham Springs.

Funny thing is, I've seen Sheets interviewed. Not too sure he could hold anyone's attention for nine innings.

I’d love him to pitch again after we wrap up home field throughout the playoffs … so in the last game or two. It would be awesome if he could have success to close out the season … unless it convinced management to add him to the playoff roster.

They keep winning anyway. As do the Dodgers. It seems like we may have learned a thing or two from last year and are gearing up for the rematch.

Yeah, whether or not he's still in the running for the PS roster I suspect he'll work vs STL.

I agree. Why not give him another chance to see if he can come around and help us in some way these next few weeks.

I took a long weekend in Baltimore and made it to all the games this weekend. I don’t have a whole lot to add; the Brewers offense was concerning yesterday and today, but otherwise, it was a fun weekend and overall, the Brewers looked good against an ok Orioles team.

I just have a few notes to add. The Brewers had a good fan contingent here. The “Let’s Go Brewers” chant could be heard throughout the stadium a few times, and I saw a lot of people in town in Brewers gear (much more so than the Saints, who were also in town this weekend).

If you have a chance to catch a game at Camden Yards, I would highly recommend it. I put it up there with PNC Park and AT&T Park when it comes to best ballparks I’ve visited.

Finally, going to a visiting team’s city is a reminder that we have the most exciting pitcher in baseball. While waiting for the train to get to the game today, a few Oriole fans were telling me they were checking all week hoping to see the Miz on the mound. I got asked multiple times earlier in the weekend whether he was pitching this weekend. As great as Chris Sale, Christopher Sanchez, Brian Schittler, etc. are, the vibe I get is that Miz is something different.
