Brewers have opened the entire ballpark for a watch party tonight. Presumably tomorrow too.

Was coming here to say this. Just got the email. $15 tickets, included $10 to use in stadium, parking is $10.

Has anyone tried to get on the MLB ticketing system this morning? I thought about getting a game 6 ticket against LA (just in case - there are tix available in sec 303 and 305) and it keeps giving me an error.

I think servers are overloaded. I was able to go to the Guardians website and log in there.

Does anyone know the max amount tickets I can potentially purchase tomorrow? I'd like to get 5 if possible.

Just got an email about the Wisconsin resident presale at 10 AM.

The limit is 2 per person.

So, that isn’t going to do me any good because 2 of my daughters want to go. I guess I’ll be searching the secondary market, which will probably be more difficult for 3 than 2. Maybe I should have them arm wrestle each other for the right to go with Dad.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I have a question. A ticket has $100 face value. It is listed on a secondary site for $200. I buy it for $200, and it gets transferred to me. However, the game doesn't happen.

What happens to my $200? I'm holding a $100 ticket.

Or, does it not get transferred to me until the game is assured of happening? I'm guessing the site will generously refund my money, minus their fee.

Thanks in advance

They are gone for Game 1 and 2.

400 level is $1600+ per ticket for games 6 and 7. I couldn't pull the trigger. I'll go to the parade instead :)

I’m not seeing any available tickets on this pre-sale. There are a couple of sections that are colored suggesting that there are seats available in them but when I click on them, it says no tickets found matching your filter criteria. My only filter criteria is two tickets.

Yeah they are gone. I had one single I was going to consider for $1100 and then got a system error when I tried to login. I would have been livid if I was absolutely certain I was going to buy it.

Looks like they are all gone now. If you go back to the page to select an event, it only shows the NLCS games.

I just can't bring myself to pull the trigger on $1800 for a ticket.

Maybe next time.  😨

Struggled with same question. Once in a lifetime, 44 years, etc. Just too much and I'm firmly upper middle. Frustrating that many uber wealthy who probably casually followed if at all will be there. Way of the world.

It's an idiotic price but one of those things where if the $1800 doesn't materially affect where you're going to be in a year, 3 years, etc...I'd just go. If you are sitting there with a maxed out CC then yeah, probably don't do that.

I was willing to spend 700 - 800 for nosebleeds. I couldn't do 1200 on principle.

The atmosphere for World Series games will probably be less electric than for the early rounds because so many tickets go to other teams, league and team sponsors, and then wealthy people who just want to be seen or say they were there.. it’s unlikely that anything will top the experience of the ending in game two against the Padres unless it is a series clinching moment.

The watch parties should be fun as hell. Maybe I'll try that.

Yeah. I was at game 2 vs. SD. Probably the most insane sports moment I'd been to absent game 5 Cubs last year.

I guess the good news is no away fans are going to be paying to see these games in Milwaukee, so it should be 99.999% Brewer fans. And many Brewer fans balking at the ticket price for the home games will make it out to the away games instead, so we should be well represented there as well.

I spent way more than I thought my threshold was going to be to grab two Game 1 tickets a couple days ago, but looks like it was a good call, as the same seats are $500+ more on SeatGeek now and sounds like I'm not going to have the opportunity to grab anything at face value at this point.

For me personally (assuming we get 1 more win here 😬🤞), as someone born in 1982 and wasn't even really old enough to be truly following the team until 1993, living through so many years of following a team that just had no chance of even being a winning team, let alone a playoff team, let alone a division winner, let alone a World Series champion, Game 1 is going to be a celebration of the impossible happening. Win or lose, I'm just excited to be engulfed in Brewer fans celebrating what this team has accomplished.

If they win one more game, these next two weeks is going to be a beautiful fever dream.

I mean by far the best moment for me at a game was Game 7 Yelich home run in 2018, the only moment of the night where it felt like it was gonna happen. I've been at lots of other historic wins but nothing really approaches that level.

I don't blame anyone saying they're not doing a grand for the terrace on principle. Too personal for me though. I have listened to my Dad bemoan my grandfather taking his brother to the World Series in 1957 my entire life. If there's a game I am getting my Dad there while I still can. When we lost in 2018 I thought that was my last chance.

It's great for the city too. Bars should be crowded.

I was going to pull the trigger on a Game 1 ticket, but alas, sold.

Game 7 had great seating options though, so I went with that.

i don’t know that I’d pull the trigger at $1,800+ on the secondary. We will see where prices go if we win the NLCS. I don’t think I’d play the wait till almost gametime to buy a ticket. A bit of a drive to play that game. Lol

Kinda sad how the Brewers priced things. Think it just inflates secondary.

There will probably be at least two other ticket drops beyond this though.

Same. I'm still considering roadtripping to whichever city hosts in the AL, but that Game 2 experience is almost impossible to top, even if it came in the NLDS. Only thing that I think could top it for me at this point is witnessing a WS clinch.

Since the thread is getting long -- for those of you that are Season Seat Holders (SSH), how much did you get the tickets for?  We were going to get the 20-game pack in early September, but didn't pull the trigger.  We have a sizable family, so two season tickets would certainly get used.  We simply didn't get it.

Setting aside Super Bowls/World Cup/Knicks NBA Finals at MSG, I can’t  think of a sporting event in the US with this level of demand/secondary market pricing since the 2016 World Series. At least at this point.

Someone will have a better answer than this, but in 2018 the strip price for my club seats was $340 for the World Series per seat.
