Thats what I was thinking, but seems really cheap, but I guess it keeps ER's off Freddy's like

I imagine they'll change that. I don't think he had a play at 1B and it can't be an error for throwing to the wrong base... can it?

On September 22nd, they lost to the Phillies 4-6…..they’ve lost ONE game since.

If we win tonight and tomorrow we would end the season on a 19-2 run!

Kevin Cash overmanaged this entire series

He was real close to looking pretty good…until the Brewers showed me and him who they are while erasing a 4-0 first inning lead.

Man alive!!!!  Bobby Gasser showing up the world!

He's reminding me of Smoltz actually. The #3 behind Maddux and Glavine in the rotation but the best of the three in the postseason.

You think you can hurt me? I watch Wisconsin sports. You can't hurt me.

That inning never happens if Yelich is out at 2nd. Unbelievable.

*To this point* the strongest resistance came at the hands of San Diego. I've said this 3 or 4 times now but the forgotten moment of this run will be the Gary Sanchez AB in the 9th with 2 outs. There were pitches in that AB he is usually hacking at, but for whatever reason he sat on them. The entire series could have turned on that AB which ended in a walk. It's burned in my memory.

That's why baseball is so amazing. When I go psycho for one small moment or mistake or missed strike three or anything, it's because one moment can change entire trajectory. You're absolutely right. That was the moment. And not to toot my horn but I've been super uncharacteristically calm since then because I could sense that series was it. They became inevitable after that. When you walk off Mason Miller in that situation, you're inevitable.

Gasser gave up a rocket single to the first hitter and proceeded to pitch 6 shutout innings without giving up another hit.

just like we all expected.

I donno about that.  His players made a lot of base running and throwing errors.  He knew his players had to be almost perfect to get back in this series.

Gasser better be coming out there for the 7th with a stinking 10-0 lead and less than 80 pitches.

Hugs in the dugout, looks like he’s done.

No reason to sit Hicks, and Aranda who are two of your best hitters this postseason

I think the Rays are where we were for the past few years. Good team but just too green.

Oh dear.  I didn't realize he did that.  He'll be second guessed for years about that.

We'll see over the next few years! I'll still take my chances with Miz moving forward... unless Gasser wants to keep doing this!

I'm not sure why we're yanking Gasser here though.

Anyway, hit #5 for Chourio?

Everyone talked about how smart he was in Game 1 to save his horses and how good the Rays felt in spite of the lost, but his B relievers gave up a run in a winnable 1 run game.

Not a whole lot he could have done to change this one, though.

Look at the Rays 5-9 tonight. You basically gotta worry about Diaz, Simpson and Caminero.

Rest of the lineup is pretty bad for a World Series team
