Silverchair - Straight Lines

Jack's Mannequin - Holiday From Real (side project from Something Corporate dude, i just found out... i feel so old and behind the times)

I heard it on the radio today and before I could go over to turn it off it was already stuck in my head.

Summer of '69 by Bryan Adams.

Now excuse me while I go smash my radio.

RATM - Township Rebellion

Specifically the chorus, "Why stand on a silent platform, fight the war, _____ the norm" with the sweet guitar in the background. I think its the last time they do the chorus.

I hear ya, Gormans Sideburns. I have a 3 year old son so I typically have a song by the Wiggles or the Doodlebops stuck in my head. "Toot toot chugga chugga big red car" http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/eyes.gif

But he's also a Weird Al fan, so at least some of those songs push the annoying songs out of my head once in a while.

T-Pain "Buy you a drink" has been jammed in my brain for about 3 weeks. About the time I forget the chorus I hear the song again on the radio. AHHH!!

Nightshift by the Commodores.

We had a fantasy football draft the other day and I kept singing "Marvin, Marvin....hey what you doin' now" after someone drafted Marvin Harrison.

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Silverchair - Straight Lines

I just want to brag about the clever jukebox plug I made last weekend. Straight Lines by Silverchair and Crooked Teeth by Death Cab. I didn't even realize the opposite names until after... but boy did I just love sitting back and watching everyone in the bar enjoy those songs, even if they didn't realize they were enjoying them.

I've had "I Grieve" by Peter Gabriel in my head all week for some reason and the hymn "Great is Thy Thankfulness" because I had to play it 6 times in Church on Sunday.

oh brian..... you just screwed me for all of this weekend.

we played that for a UW Band field show my frosh or sophomore year and nobody could get it out of their head.

UGGGHHHH!!!!!!

I work with kids with autism - who have a legendary ability to perseverate on certain songs and 1 minute segments from TV shows. I've literally watched every Wiggles video at least twice per week, and have seen the intro from Jay Jay the Jet Plane and Veggie Tales approximately 50 times per week. We have one kid who will sing "hot potato, hot potato, cold spaghetti cold spaghetti" for his entire session some days. The evil lurking of these songs inside my head is possibly the biggest drawback of my job. Which leads me to the song stuck in my head: the "You're Invited" theme song from Mary Kate and Ashley videos.

"Lightnin Strikes" by Lou Christie. And Patrick, "Bad Time" is a great song!

"I was flicking through the channels on the TV, on a Sunday in Milwaukee in the rain,
Trying to piece together conversations ... Trying to find out where to lay the blame"

Today its been "Hey There Delilah" and Killing in the Name. Quite the pair.

gypcasino-you're on the same vibe as me...you poor soul

At least it's a song I know all the words to. Usually the song stuck in my head is one that I only know one line from.
