Dodgers looking to trade Kemp, Braun?

I would hate to have Puig in a Brewers uniform. Hard to root for that guy... -
Dodgers looking to trade Kemp, Braun?
TURBO replied to Jaylyn's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
Nope. At this point, let him retire a Brewer, or just let him play his contract out. The only way I'd consider this move was if we planned to do a strict salary dump. Get Kemp, cut him the next day and save 15 million off the books. I don't want to have to find ways to get Kemp in the line-up, we are already doing that with Braun. I still believe Braun has something to offer us, just don't think he should be playing every day at the expense of someone else... -
I think people can paint this any way they want, but this is going to hurt us next year. Cardinals just got better offensively, that can't be denied. Goldy makes it that much more difficult to beat them. This hurts the Brewers, and strengthens the Cardinals for 2019.

Really? Please explain...

Jesus at 3B and Shaw at 2B all season, with Braun at 1B? Better get some strike-out pitchers to start games... yeeeeesus!

Brantley won't be signed anywhere as a platoon player. He'll be signed as a full time player, who hopefully won't spend large parts of the season on the DL. (which I find almost impossible)

I'll admit it, I wanted him back, with a real chance of being the everyday guy, not a couple at bats a week...

Without Stallone/Rocky, I won't have much interest in other Creed films. To be honest, the actor that plays Creed is pretty blah. I just haven't found myself liking him much. On the flipside, and I felt a little guilty about these thoughts, I found myself more drawn to Drago's son than Creed. Viktor Drago has obviously led a much more interesting and painful life that Adonis Creed. His character drew more emotion out of me than Creed, and I found myself feeling genuinely sorry for him.. That is all I can say without posting spoilers, so I'll let it go at that...

Yuni... Just want to mention his name before someone else does. Winning!

This is going to hurt...

Woodruff has more upside than soft-tossing Weaver. I think Davies is a better comp. I agree that the Cards made a terrific trade, and Goldy is a guy in my mind that would have looked great in the Brewers lineup. Swing and a miss from our front office Did our front office even step into the batter's box to take a swing?

Agreed. It was an awesome movie. Saw it last night, worth seeing for sure... Not much new can be added to your typical ROCKY mix, but I found it to be greatly entertaining...

I doubt Miller can he had at 3 years and 18 million... Highly doubtful.

Jon Paul Morosi of MLB.com reports that the Brewers have been in contact with the Yankees about a trade for Sonny Gray. This backs up recent reporting from Max Wildstein of Gotham Sports Network. It's no secret that the Yankees are shopping Gray and he's a sure thing to be dealt at some point this winter. The 29-year-old is coming off a 4.90 ERA this past season and has been a poor fit for New York, but there's plenty of appetite in him as a buy-low. The Brewers fit in this dynamic. Gray made $6.5 million in 2018 and has one year of arbitration before hitting free agency. Source: Jon Morosi on TwitterDec 4 - 11:23 AM

Lopez missing that first free throw with 2.7 seconds left didn't help matters...

Hate for Schoop? Why? He didn't play enough to get comfortable here imo. Jumping leagues in the playoff hunt had to be extremely difficult, couple that with sporadic playing time and I think he deserves a mulligan on his time here. In all honesty, I was hoping to bring him back and see what he did after settling in...

When are the Bucks going to admit that DJ (clownhair) Wilson was possibly their worst draft choice ever, and cut bait...

Trade Targets Starting Pitching 2018-19
TURBO replied to jjfanec's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
Mike Fiers was non tendered, how long will it take someone to start a thread saying we should go get him? X-Brewer love and all... -

Jon Heyman of Fancred Sports reports that the Dodgers, Padres, Giants and Mariners are among the teams interested in Japanese left-hander Yusei Kikuchi. It would appear that Kikuchi might prefer to play on the West Coast. Kikuchi's current club, the Seibu Lions, are expected to officially post the lefty next week and the pitcher will then have 30 days to sign with a major league team. He held a 3.08 ERA and 153/45 K/BB ratio over 163 2/3 innings in the Pacific League in 2018. Source: Jon Heyman on TwitterNov 30 - 10:36 AM OH CRAP!

Instead of going to jail, they go to the campus crying closet. I'm serious, that is a thing, google it and prepared to be degusted.
