  1. Here's the summary of Bears 2nd round pick Logan Jones on NFL.com: Undersized but highly experienced with NFL-ready technique. Jones has a dense frame and short limbs. He has impressive initial quickness and stays firm inside the framework with his hands while his feet rarely stop pressing forward. Long nose tackles with quick hands are his kryptonite at the point of attack. Iowa’s scheme limited his true pass-set count, so proving he can anchor and play with gap range will be essential. He’s operational in gap schemes but better in zone, where his athleticism mitigates his lack of length. Jones’ age, traits and center-only value could limit his suitor count, but he has the polish to help early with the right fit. Packers proceed to draft a DT with 34" arms and 11" hands...
  2. I don't know if DDS means the end of LVN's tenure in GB after this season, but it almost certainly means they are not picking up his 5th year option. GB now has a little more leverage to only extend LVN on a much more team-friendly deal with low guaranteed $ and can let LVN walk if he doesn't accept.
  3. Hey, off the schneid! Not their biggest need this year, but a really good value at this point.
  4. IIRC, Runyan was a cap issue because of the gymnastics they were trying to do with Rodgers/Bakhtiari's dead cap stress.
  5. Gutey said in his presser that they feel like McClellan can play nose tackle. That's the only thing that kept him off of my mock list; I wasn't sure that he could. But he was definitely the best iDL pass rusher available at that point (who is not strictly a 3-tech). 2nd team All SEC... he isn't some reach.
  6. If they're still on the board at #120, I think my preference in order would be: DDS Bryce Lance Mike Washington Drew Shelton Charles Demmings
  7. Nobody in the draft has played LT in the NFL, they've said that Tom will be ready for minicamp, and they wouldn't have given Rhyan the extension if they didn't think he could be a quality center with a full offseason of work at center. Tom only played a little over half of the offensive snaps last year. Same with Belton, who was a rookie. Rhyan only played half the snaps at center, and Morgan played none of the snaps at LT. So to use last year's OL performance as a barometer for this year doesn't really make sense because, for the most part, it isn't the same guys at the same positions.
  8. Looking at the picks for CHI, DET, and MIN, there isn't anyone who they picked who I thought was a great value or that I'm upset about except for maybe Sam Roush. Thieneman was a good need pick, but Logan Jones was a reach.
  9. Kacmarek gone in the 3rd. The run on TEs continues. There goes Kaelon Black. Before Mike Washington.
  10. 1st round pick at LT, big FA contract at LG, 3rd round pick at C, 2nd round pick at RG, big contract extension at RT. I think they need better backups, but I think they had bigger overall needs.
  11. Logan Jones just soiled himself
  12. Dammit... he was a guy I identified early on, but didn't think he would be able to play the A-gap. I should know, Gutey likes those SEC guys. CB and DT. Right church, wrong pews.
  13. Pack just traded up... Gotta be Orange or DDS
  14. He only had 3 sacks last year in 12 games, 10 starts. People were complaining about Gary,,, and the Viqueens got two 3rds for Greenard
  15. Viqueens trading Greenard to the Eagles. Looks like they aren't viewing 2026 as a competitive year.
  16. Big run on TEs here. Surprised that so many have been picked but Roush isn't one of them... yet.
  17. Bears drafting Logan Jones. Now the Packers need to go up and get Orange because he destroyed Iowa's interior OL. Orange's 34" arms vs Jones' 30" arms... LOL.
  18. Can't argue with that. Good value there.
  19. I wonder if the run on DTs last year is affecting the demand this year. I ran 12-15 mocks this week using the NFL Mock Draft Database Simulator, which runs off of the Consensus Big Board, which is what the writers at ACME Packing Company use. FWIW, Christen Miller was almost always available at #52. I think once he wasn't. Dani Dennis-Sutton was rarely available at #52; he frequently was picked by the Lions at #50. And that makes a lot of sense - I know they really want to have at least somewhat of a threat opposite Hutchinson, so I would not be surprised if the Lions go Edge at #50. Orange was always available at #52; they have him at #70 overall. Right now all four of McDonald, Miller, Hunter, and Orange are still available.
  20. This is not correct. Per the Bills website: https://www.buffalobills.com/news/buffalo-bills-trade-out-of-2026-first-round-deal-no-31-overall-to-titans Bills get 35, 66, 101. Titans get 31, 69, 165
  21. How does Rueben Bain last all the way to #15 and the Bucs?
  22. "Nutting" as in hitting square, such as a golf shot that hit directly in the center of the sweet spot on the club face. Absolutely nailed it. Has it been a long winter there? 🙃
  23. Every year Packers Wire does an "Unpacking Future Packers" series where they profile 100 draft prospects who they think have some fit with the Packers. They always count down to #1, with #1 being the player they think the Packers will take with their first pick. This morning they came out with #1. Guess who they chose? https://packerswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/packers/2026/04/23/unpacking-future-packers-no-1-iowa-state-dt-domonique-orange/89744229007/
  24. Hey, those names sound familiar! Dugger is interesting. I would not at all be surprised if they are targeting him in the 7th, but not as an ILB - with the intention to convert him to OLB. Been reading comments about him having natural pass rush abilities, and he did have 13 TFLs last year, but it makes me wonder why he didn't play Edge last year.
  25. Almost all of the CBs who were available in the 2nd round were injured. I looked them up, and none of them played more than 12 games last year. They were still injured or got injured again. I think it was smart not to draft an injured CB, especially since they all had leg/lower body/back injuries. Once Nohl Williams got picked (two spots before their 3rd round pick), there was a big dropoff. If there is someone they should have picked who was available, healthy, and played more than 12 games last year, let me know. And their CBs didn't start looking bad until after Parsons and Wyatt went down. That's no coincidence.
