    If you don't mind walking a little bit, there is a shuttle from Watertown Plank road that has a free shuttle bus. It drops you off by the US Bank building. It is part of a promotion for an electric bus line. We used it for Summerfest. I'm guessing there will be more parking downtown now, though.

    How would the Ohtani deal be compared to the CC Sabathia trade? I believe Ohtani would provide more value because of his bat. The Sabathia trade was a point where the Brewers really proved they wanted to go for it. The Indians made out on it with Brantley. One of the pieces that would be traded for Ohtani would probably become the next Brantley.

    This begs the question: what would be a sufficient sample size? I agree that he has to be a better option than Winker and should get the opportunity. Let's say, he gets called up today and plays the remainder of the games as a DH. If he doesn't rake, will the next step be, "he needs to get a full season under his belt?" If we are calling for Hiura to get these chances, then we can't call out Turang or other young players who, at least, are an asset defensively.

    Hello Milwaukee Taxpayers: We need more tax money at the Fiserv Forum so we can pay for a new LCD floor. If the Brewers scoreboard "needs" to be replaced every 5-10 years, how does that fare for this? Not going to work well at facilities that have Basketball and Ice Hockey, I would think. On the positive side -- have custom spots outside of the 3-point line for 4, 5, 6 pointers. NBA Jam: HE'S ON FIRE!!!!!

    If I read this correctly, he is under control for one more year: Spotrac I know the Brewers cheesed Burnes off last year in arbitration. Do you try to sign him to an extension now? Maybe 5 years / 125M? That is 25M per year and gets him until he is 33. I'm guessing the Brewers don't have that much cash, though.

    True, but he started at 3B when he entered the Majors. He had hands of stone, so they moved him to the OF to allow him to be in the lineup. I guess the similarity would be that Braun started at an infield position, but was moved to the OF because of his defensive liability on the infield.

    I'm expecting to see an offense that is very different than what we have seen in the past. I will be happy if the Packers go 10-7. The offense will struggle to start off the season and people will question LaFleur's coaching ability to the point where they will be calling for a new skipper. Love will be fine, but he will be able to work within the offensive scheme instead of directing the scheme. My feeling was that Rodgers was all about "my way or the highway." I don't think I will pick up Love on my Fantasy Football team. Jones or Dillon? Maybe.

    My chance to yell at the clouds. I apologize if this was mentioned already. The broadcast had to be one of the worst directed broadcasts I have seen all year. Goal 1: let's make sure we see the batter get one or two steps out of the box before we flip to the camera where the play was made. Goal 2: make sure there are plenty of shots where it appears the cameras are in some type of hurricane or earthquake.

    Great article. I think we could do better than Ryan Noda. He is a rookie and has lots of control which is a positive.     Quick reality check... this isn't "MLB: The Show" Nobody is going to offer more than 2 tier 1 players for him. This board, among others, have been clamoring for the "Cy Young" Burnes. Well, he has been pitching like that during his last handful of starts. So, let's trade him while he's hot? I'm excited about the season again -- especially with Yelich being all-star worthy. Build the foundation of solid starting pitching. Burnes is the cornerstone. Let's get another solid bat and another bullpen arm. Get into the playoffs and do some damage.

    The problem is that mainstream outlets will use bloggers as source material. Journalism is nothing like it used to be. How many times do we see misspellings on the crawlers in local and NATIONAL news outlets. It would be interesting to be in Jim Hoyt's journalism class now. It was, at least, interesting 30 years ago.

    Toyota is also spending a lot of $$$, I mean ¥¥¥, using hydrogen cells. I have seen videos on how there is an infrastructure in parts of California. It is interesting how the media doesn't address that much.

    I want to make sure I understand -- is OPS is the only thing that comes into play when talking about Keston Hiura? If so, then he is a prototypical definition of a 3PO player, correct?

    Hypothetically, at what point would you consider his callup a success? Likewise, what would be considered a failure? I would expect him to do better than Winker or Tellez. Calling him up and having him do the same as the majority of the roster is not a success. If he hits .220 and K's 35% of the time in 100 ABs, then it would be time for a DFA. Contrary to some, I'm stuck on the big K numbers. As said in the other thread, his K% in AAA this year is down to 23%, so I'm hopeful he will do better this time around. Perhaps now would be a time to trade him since he appears to have some value.

    Winker is not the answer at DH. Putting Yelich is not the answer at DH because we have heard from different sources that sitting on the bench between at bats messes with your head. This is not only from the Brewers broadcast booth. Yelich is the best hitter on the team. Don't mess with what is working. IMHO, it is time to bring up Hiura. Before he gets my vote for all-star, he needs to get his K% close to 30% in the majors. 2022 saw a K% of 41.7%, with a 2021 value of 39.1%. That is not and cannot be acceptable. In AAA, his K% is 23.9%. I know that is at AAA, but it is very, very encouraging.
