  1. This doesn't really relate to jacked up prices but does anybody know if they still offer Uecker seats, can't find anything on ther official site? Would like to know what gate to go to and when they start selling them. Was going to go Saturday night when they are giving away the Tumbler.
  2. It would be nice to get lucky with a youngish guy like Myers that can be a solid starter with a full 6 years of control. Could help ease the pain of losing Reese Olson a couple of years ago.
  3. Would think some of those veterans would have something in their contract that they can go to another team if offered a major league spot. Nice to see Lauer having a good start to the year.
  4. Great job by the pitching staff, did not think they could stop the Padres after the last couple of nights and Wilson starting today.
  5. Listened to Murphy's press conference yesterday and in short Murphy's response was did you see how well Peralta pitched last start on longer rest. So maybe that is the plan all year for Peralta.
  6. Have to give credit to Matt Trueblood already having an article up about him.
  7. Wow, you were not kidding, rough night for Gutierrez. Looks like they may have found something in Koenig, have not seen the last of him. Would be awsome if Myers earned his first win today.
  8. Tied for the Brewers highest winning percentage of all time at 5-0. Bryse Wilson actually has more wins at 7-0 but also active and at risk of losing a game today.
  9. Shortening the season doesn't honor Robinson's legacy any further. Would just be a sidenote to Opening Day. I love the way they do it now, April 15th used to be tax day but now view it as Jackie Robinson Day.
  10. I mean it is known Yelich is dealing with back issues.
  11. Makes sense to give Chourio a day off, has been scuffling a bit. Will be back Monday.
  12. It was known Mitchell wasn't going to be back until around June 1, he was going to be transferred to the 60 day as soon as they needed the 40 man spot. Got rid of Monasterio because he is hardly playing and Yelich is currently not available, don't see this adding more time for Frelick at 3B with Dunn playing the way he has.
  13. I know the Wall of Honor is based on a set criteria but hard to believe Harper isn't on it. Having the most franchise steals in a single season should be good enough to get there. If not that then a 30-30 season should also be an auto qualifier, Harper, Braun and Yelich are the only 30-30 guys in franchise history. He laid the foundation and it would be nice if the Brewers recognized him before he is no longer here.
  14. Will be interesting what they do with Hall, sure doesn't appear to be a good starting option right now. If they insist on that might be best to start in Nashville instead.
  15. The Orioles did add Yohan Ramirez to the active roster today so will see if there are any more fireworks today. Probably will want to avoid another suspension though.
  16. Looks like they could easily transfer Mitchell and Clarke to the 60 day IL if they need any more pitching help in April or May not currently on the 40 man.
  17. This game has been postponed until August 30th as part of a double header. Glad they called it early
  18. The Brewers have hardly spent any money on Ashby at this point, they have committed millions but not much wasted at this point. Way too early to reach a conclusion one way or the other. If I was a betting man would say those two option years will still be a bargain.
  19. I think there are some still reluctant to buy from place like Stubhub but if the Brewers try to artificially inflate prices they will only hurt themselves because fans will buy from elsewhere versus the Brewers. I rarely buy directly from the Brewers anymore unless it is for theme nights.
  20. They didn't' pivot from anything, was always going to be Cody and Reigns. Rollins is a different story with the Punk injury, sure hope he loses though. Looking ng forward to the many n event tonight, figure there will be a ton of run ins, will be interesting who shows up.
  21. It was chaotic though because for the thousands that it didn't work for there were still threats of heavy fines/tow. Later on inside it was clear that wouldn't happen but not a great business practice to make their customers wonder if their car will be there when leaving the game.
