  1. FYI Sammon never called Quero a third tier prospect. Not sure why OP added that, is a big assumption to make.

  3. I don't agree with the statement that Tellez "performed up to expectations" but he has also been a bit unlucky. Certainly hasn't played at a B+ level but I expect an uptick in the second half. Agree that Peterson should be on here, has played 80 games and probably the most valuable position player of the first half. Hopefully he doesn't disappear like he did last September. Overall the infield has underperformed as a whole but there is reason to believe the second half will be better.
  4. Don't really think it is no win for Yelich. Fans in general want to like him but overall has not been very good since his injury. If he redevelops himself as a leadoff hitter with a 400 OBP and 800 OPS like he has thus far he will be fine. He is still the most popular player on the team. It's not like he is getting booed at the ballpark.
  5. Mathias was actually with the Brewers in 2020 but was injured during Spring Training 2021 and was eventually outrighted off the 40 man.

  7. Mancini would be the best hitter on the Brewers, they need hitters so there is definitely a reason to get him. McCutchen is gone after the season anyways just like Mancini would be. I would be fine with McCutchen never facing a righty the rest of the season.

  9. Power hitters like Burnitz and Sexson and the announcing of Vasgersian made those years bearable.

  11. They need another left handed bat that can play DH on occassion, we'll see if Singleton gets the opportunity. If he was right handed there is no way he would get a shot with McCutchen around.

  13. Looking at the Brewers needs I think they could use another left handed bat. It is frustrating to see McCutchen hit cleanup vs. right handed pitchers all the time. Obviously he isn't paid all that money to be the weak side of a platoon but wouldn't mind Dahl or Singleton get some at bats at DH instead of McCutchen. The problem is one of Hiura/Brosseau is already being optioned when Urias comes back so probably not going to happen. However, if Mccutchen goes on the IL I do think they bring up one of the two.

  16. I was around the same age, in high school. Was excited by the quick start and was about to go 4-0 but they blew a lead in the eighth due to an error by Pat Listach that kept the inning going. Last year by Teddy Higuera as well. Looked good in April but all downhill after that for him and the team.

  20. Didn't play at all between 2018-2020 which included a 100 game suspension. He certainly has had the talent but has a lot to prove and needs to makes better decisions. Even though Marijuana isn't real serious he knows the rules if he wants to stay in baseball. Glad he bought that gym during his downtime and stayed in shape.

  24. Posters that are here still have really only come here for the forum, there has not been articles/content for years. Obviously you expect some return on your investment and I'm sure you're also looking for new users but older users probably don't care too much about content creators since they have been without it for so long. Don't really consider it boasting, just a different perspective.
  25. Don't have much to add but really enjoy these reilly.
