  1. They need another left handed bat that can play DH on occassion, we'll see if Singleton gets the opportunity. If he was right handed there is no way he would get a shot with McCutchen around.
  2. Looking at the Brewers needs I think they could use another left handed bat. It is frustrating to see McCutchen hit cleanup vs. right handed pitchers all the time. Obviously he isn't paid all that money to be the weak side of a platoon but wouldn't mind Dahl or Singleton get some at bats at DH instead of McCutchen. The problem is one of Hiura/Brosseau is already being optioned when Urias comes back so probably not going to happen. However, if Mccutchen goes on the IL I do think they bring up one of the two.

  5. I was around the same age, in high school. Was excited by the quick start and was about to go 4-0 but they blew a lead in the eighth due to an error by Pat Listach that kept the inning going. Last year by Teddy Higuera as well. Looked good in April but all downhill after that for him and the team.

  9. Didn't play at all between 2018-2020 which included a 100 game suspension. He certainly has had the talent but has a lot to prove and needs to makes better decisions. Even though Marijuana isn't real serious he knows the rules if he wants to stay in baseball. Glad he bought that gym during his downtime and stayed in shape.

  17. I don't think all of Gott/Urena/Perdomo make it. May want more flexibility since they know they have to get rid of one at the end of the month. Perdomo probably the odd man out and another guy with options(Gustave?) initially makes the team. If one of these veterans falter then Perdomo may get his shot.

  19. Saw Batman last night and enjoyed it quite a bit. It was too long, especially at the end but after getting so many Marvel movies over the last number of years it was nice to have a more grounded, realistic type movie. Batman never has had super powers but it felt like everybody was at risk as they are just humans. Didn't matter if it was Riddler, Catwoman, Penguin, Batman, Alfred, Gordon or anybody in between, there were stakes on the line.
  20. ROH was a sinking ship without much interest in watching their product can't imagine there is much interest to get ROH on the air now. Maybe they can get some use out of old footage but likely not much value beyond that.
  21. The women's rumble was fun, the men's was not and filled with a bunch of guys that nobody cares about. It is okay that Brock won but at least make the journey there worthwhile. Many predicted a Rousey win too but they made that entertaining
  22. The Last Duel was better than expected and had some real good performances. However, I didn't like all the different perspectives because I don't think there was enough differentiating perspective to warrant that. The multiple rapes scenes were especially unnecessary.
  23. Speaking of movies with 8 in the title, saw 8 Bit Christmas on HBO Max. I was a kid in the 80s and actually had to wait longer than many and finally got one for my birthday in 1989 so can relate. If you grew up back then some of the details don't make sense like a Power Glove in 88 and it wasn't real difficult to get one by Christmas 88 and many kids had one by then. However, that is nitpicking, it was a fun little movie that even made the Billy Ripken baseball card an important part of the movie.
  24. The brutality is the run itself. For hundreds of years, every bull has been tortured and killed in this ridiculous tradition. There are humane ways of killing livestock, but people like to do it this way. So if some dope gets gored, I shed no tears. Geez, didn't see this before, I get your point but a difference between being against animal brutality and warming your heart when someone gets killed. Almost a Dexter like dark versus the sunshine you mentioned.,
  25. Anything to do with the robot, less Paulie.
