  1. Don't have much to add but really enjoy these reilly.

  4. I don't think all of Gott/Urena/Perdomo make it. May want more flexibility since they know they have to get rid of one at the end of the month. Perdomo probably the odd man out and another guy with options(Gustave?) initially makes the team. If one of these veterans falter then Perdomo may get his shot.

  6. Saw Batman last night and enjoyed it quite a bit. It was too long, especially at the end but after getting so many Marvel movies over the last number of years it was nice to have a more grounded, realistic type movie. Batman never has had super powers but it felt like everybody was at risk as they are just humans. Didn't matter if it was Riddler, Catwoman, Penguin, Batman, Alfred, Gordon or anybody in between, there were stakes on the line.
  7. ROH was a sinking ship without much interest in watching their product can't imagine there is much interest to get ROH on the air now. Maybe they can get some use out of old footage but likely not much value beyond that.
  8. The women's rumble was fun, the men's was not and filled with a bunch of guys that nobody cares about. It is okay that Brock won but at least make the journey there worthwhile. Many predicted a Rousey win too but they made that entertaining
  9. The Last Duel was better than expected and had some real good performances. However, I didn't like all the different perspectives because I don't think there was enough differentiating perspective to warrant that. The multiple rapes scenes were especially unnecessary.
  10. Speaking of movies with 8 in the title, saw 8 Bit Christmas on HBO Max. I was a kid in the 80s and actually had to wait longer than many and finally got one for my birthday in 1989 so can relate. If you grew up back then some of the details don't make sense like a Power Glove in 88 and it wasn't real difficult to get one by Christmas 88 and many kids had one by then. However, that is nitpicking, it was a fun little movie that even made the Billy Ripken baseball card an important part of the movie.
  11. The brutality is the run itself. For hundreds of years, every bull has been tortured and killed in this ridiculous tradition. There are humane ways of killing livestock, but people like to do it this way. So if some dope gets gored, I shed no tears. Geez, didn't see this before, I get your point but a difference between being against animal brutality and warming your heart when someone gets killed. Almost a Dexter like dark versus the sunshine you mentioned.,
  12. Anything to do with the robot, less Paulie.
  13. Went even back further to 1985 with Rocky vs. Drago. I saw the original at the theater with my dad when I was 8 and loved it then and a guilty pleasure since then. Saw it again at the theater last night and enjoyed it, made better seeing it with a crowd again. The extra 40 minutes appeared to be marketing as I can't imagine that being true but could tell that Stallone wanted to improve the film and gave Apollo Creed some more respect and screen time with this cut. Makes sense after the success of the two Creed movies and Drago appearing in the second one. Some of the more tacky stuff was removed from this version but still has those Rocky montages, the Rocky/Drago fight was also a bit longer but probably no more than a couple of minutes. If you like the Rocky movies I do think it is worth the $4 rental.
  14. Saw it last weekend. It felt mostly like fanservice. Standing on its own, it was a pretty weak movie.
  15. Can't say I liked Many Saints of Newark as much as you. Maybe Sopranos doesn't work as a movie but really didn't enjoy it and kind of pointless. Liked the guy that played Junior Soprano but not enough of him, intrigued to learn more about Tony and his father, the actress that played Tony's Mom was also very good. Overall just don't like the direction they took with the movie. Whoever played Silvio was the absolute worst, was like a SNL skit. Hated the two Ray Liotta characters too.
  16. The movie I am looking most forward to is the new Ghostbusters movie.
  17. The AEW PPV was okay, but more about hot shotting with a bunch of new people. Story line wise it didn't really do anything. In the moment it's a nice surprise but calling it one of the greatest PPV ever is hyperbole because nothing really happened. Time will tell what they do with these people.
  18. I don't think it always come down to the best, sometimes it is about options and depth. My guess is they would option Sanchez and Gustave before getting rid of Norris.
  19. The alternative to Norris would be Perdomo/Milner. Do you think they are better options? Certainly Norris hasn't had a good first few outings by any stretch, but shouldn't call for a DFA unless you are convinced one of those guys is better. I think we give Norris a few more chances before we cut ties. And he'll actually probably be easier to hide in the back of the bullpen once September rolls around if he doesn't figure it out before then. Regardless, this is a bit of a miss for Stearns at this point clearly unless something drastically changes. The alternative for the playoffs would probably be Ashby.
  20. Free agent after this season.
  21. Got one right for once. Do think it helps the bullpen and a better option than Milner even though his results have not been good. viewtopic.php?p=1364175#p1364175
  22. A lot of bad stuff before the NWO and Attitude era. Too childish and it seemed like every wrestler had an occupation. The kids that were prime audiences in the 80s were now teens and adults.
  23. I have liked prior seasons of Dark Side of the Ring better. Besides the Pillman one not real impressed this year.
  24. AEW in general has been kind of disappointing but yes that match was something else.
  25. I think they have done a better job lately not making it as predictable. Big E has been talked about for a while ever since New Day broke up but could see a bunch of people winning. With Wrestlemania delayed wouldn't be surprised if the winner of the Rumble doesn't end up facing the champion.
