  1. He return is likely lesser as Candelario gets more expensive and team control gets smaller, now at 2 years after this season.
  2. I would be much happier with this deal if Adames could hit lefties and they would play both Urias and Adames but Adames appears to have reverse splits.
  3. That looks like a NBA trade, I doubt the Packers would make a move like that.
  4. I like Adames over Reyes for sure. At least there is a plan B for Urias if they opt to send him down at some point and they don't have to rely on Robertson either. However, would rather have Arcia/Feyereisen/Rasmussen over Adames/Weigel/Sobotka so kind of disappointing as well.
  5. Right, the Brewers figures out the hard part, they have quality starting pitching. Finding better offensive players should be easier in theory but kind of hard to believe right now watching this team.
  6. It has been said before but incremental improvement does not mean the guy is a savior. Shaw has been playing 1B against lefties, there is no reason to do that, Shaw can't hit lefties. Putting Shaw in a better position to succeed by limiting his at bats versus lefties.
  7. Would have rather seen Perez than Shaw last night. McKinney is pretty much useless right now, DFA him and try somebody else, maybe they can have some beginner's luck like Mckinney had his first 10 games. They have had so many bas position player at the major league level, give somebody different a shot.
  8. Candelario would be a fit and would be good if it didn't cost much but would probably still take a Small or Ashby type player at least. Guess it would be worth it if the Tigers are motivated to sell.
  9. I look at this pretty much every single day and can honestly say I usually just click on the organization scoreboard to review the box scores. Love when other people have thoughts on prospects, what happened during the game but it isn't necessary to have something be a grind with all the different articles and links.
  10. Having Jenkins, Sexson and a rookie Podsednik at least kept things interesting. Throw in Kieschnick and it make it a somewhat interesting summer even though they stink as a team. Of course a Glendon Rusch start usually put everybody in a bad mood so I am grateful to be able to watch Burnes/Peralta/Woodruff.
  11. Don't agree with that, it is very easy to make incremental improvements that can help them at least score more than zero. There is no reason Shaw should continue to be hitting lefties on a regular basis since Green is in the system. Green isn't great but could hit lefties when necessary.
  12. They needed Taylor's bat against the lefty, would not be surprised if Taylor is optioned after the game as long as everything looks good with Yelich.
  13. My guess is a gentleman's sweep.
  14. There was an open 40 man spot, no corresponding move necessary.
  15. Afraid of what? You have about 48 things to be more afraid of with a 16 year old than Covid. I think three posts above you summed it up if you care to read it.
  16. I like the idea of a right handed hitter that can play 1B but Pujols isn't it.
  17. Nice bench too with Feliciano, Perez, Peterson, Forsythe, Wes Wilson. It is a good time to be a Sounds fan. Think the top half of the Brewers lineup does some damage tonight.
  18. A blast from the past but Clint Coulter just joined Memphis recently.
  19. I would think some sort of transactions will happen before the game. Can't keep on sending Vogelbach/Shaw out there against left handed starters and expect the offense to do something.
  20. Must be Bob Uecker weekend September 25/26 with different bobbleheads of him both days.
  21. Smyly has been horrible as long as he isn't playing the Nationals, hopefully the trend continues.
  22. The Brewers winning a World Series does not computer. However I think the 2021 team has the better chance as long as they can replace Pablo Reyes and Dan Vogelbach on the roster with 1982 Robin Yount and Cecil Cooper.
  23. Nice to see Brendan Murphy pitching well again.
  24. Horrible first pitch called ball and then Perdomo just throws it away. Can't even imagine the Brewers scoring multiple runs in the ninth.
