  1. 3-4 days of Yelich is better than 5 of Corey Ray or Dee Gordon.
  2. Yeah, hit Roberto Perez on the top of the foot on a 0-2 pitch with one out. Could have been worse though, the first guy of the inning could have easily been called safe on a bang bang play.
  3. A lot of pathetic stats against Hendricks. Hopefully Shaw can hit one out and McKinney gets a shot.
  4. Certainly a small sample struggle but has walked 5, given up 7 hits, struck out only 2 and leads the league in 2 hit batters. Nice year last year but needs to keep it up when you have options.
  5. Stinks that Vogelbach had two balls called strikes and was forced to swing at the third strike outside the zone.
  6. The 10 days have passed so really no reason to keep Yardley in the bigs to figure things out. Stearns has been pretty liberal with the shuttle in the past so might as well get it going. Conversely Feyereisen has been a pleasant surprise.
  7. They are not going to do this but would rather just start Hiura at second with Wong out right now if they want to get Vogelbach/McKinney some starts at first.
  8. I'd guess that you can draw up your estate however you want. Wikipedia indicates that Pat and Tyler's dad were divorced in 2007. You can draw up your estate however you want but still surprised the plan itself would allow it. The cost to run the plan are a lot higher if it can be passed on to kids.
  9. A post for every dose.
  10. I'll believe it when I see it. When was the last time they did that, if ever?
  11. It also looked a lot better when it was thought Peralta would be in the bullpen but can certainly see why they would have him in the rotation over Lindblom. Suter is still solid but a lot of guys with little to no experience after that. Would also like a do over on that Corey Knebel trade.
  12. I guess it is a way to even the roster out between pitchers and position players. Sobotka probably doesn't even deserve a 40 man spot while Weigel is somewhat intriguing. It was previously mentioned that Weigel has all three options however it appears this will be his final option year.
  13. It's stupid to get ejected for flexing, he didn't hit anybody. If any body should have been ejected was Molina.
  14. With how important the bullpen has been for the Brewers I do find it interesting that bullpen guys like Topa, Bickford, Perdomo and Feyereisen don't get many votes. But then a guy like Andrew gets in at 25.
  15. When I got Spectrum around December I called and told them I didn't want a box and they were fine with it. At the time I had the app on Roku but I guess you can't download it anymore there but it works fine. I can also go on my computer and watch Spectrum TV as I did that yesterday while working from home.
  16. It's an old article and probably wouldn't make a lot of sense for the Brewers right now with Wong here and four outfielders already getting paid a bunch. If this was offered back in November I would probably take it.
  17. I imagine he gets transferred to the 60 day as soon as they need to open a spot on the 40 man, which isn't necessary right now.
  18. I'll predict a rain out and go 14-11.
  19. As it has been pointed out before, literally no one has said that. Back to the vaccine supply question, if you're eligible in the current wave in Wisconsin and haven't scheduled yet, it sounds like there's a lot of pharmacy availability from Walgreens, etc. For example, I have a friend from way back in HS who was at a Walgreens for something else and thought to check with the pharmacy to see what their availability was that day (last weekend), and got a shot literally on the spot. If you're waiting because you think others with more serious conditions should have an opportunity, they've likely had the opportunity at this point. Absolutely, the more that get it the better. I have been helping some of my more technology challenged relatives get appointments and they have been fairly easy to get. The way it is looking anybody that wants one should easily be able to get them in the next couple of weeks. Wisconsin is doing a great job with the vaccinations.
  20. The Giants released Black a few years ago so does that mean Black had to agree to go to the alternate training site or did he not have a chose in the matter?
  21. One thing I don't agree with is that everybody will adjust and nobody will even notice after the initial complaints. The Brewers have many more people attending a 8 game Packers season or the Bucks who played about half a season under the new way in a new arena. The Brewers are certainly taking a risk with attendance. It will be hard to measure because of the pandemic and already reduced attendance in 2021 and who knows how many will stay away from large crowds in 2022 and going forward but I do believe attendance will take a hit.
  22. When I used to live in Milwaukee about a decade or so ago I would always buy from the stadium to avoid fees and it didn't take much time since I drove my the stadium every day. Now living in Madison if they want to go this route it doesn't really impact me. I tried reading most of this thread but did the Brewers actually say you can't buy physical tickets if you go to the ticket window on game day?
  23. Yes, don't know how you can miss it if you ever go to a BP.
  24. I use the Spectrum app through Roku.
  25. I actually don't think it is very Stearns like to keep a guy like Topa in the minors who is clearly much better than the competition. I will be shocked if Topa is optioned and he keeps both of those veterans who have shown nothing during the spring.
