    I have been rooting for the Padres because they are having fun but they better not start complaining every time a pitcher celebrates. I'll just blame this one on Manny Machado.

    Can really see how much the talent level has dropped when they add Freitas to the roster and he didn't play for them at all this year. Also, there are 16 position players on the roster and no Mathias?

    Horrible, losing Burnes and Williams in the last week gets rid of any hope I had.

    Would this comment be taken as throwing some of the current players under the bus? I would say a lot of those players that did not work out are no longer with the team like Holt, Morrison, Smoak. However, guys like Garcia, Sogard and Narvaez certainly fit as well.

    I signed up along with my kids who are now 8/10 for the Club seats. Started at like 15000 and now at 6012. Don't want to sit in those cold bleacher seats when I am retired anyway.

    For the Brewers the playoffs start with this five game series against the Cardinals. If they win the series they should be in but if they don't they go home.

    Doubt it, the Brewers are not going to pay a guy millions to sit in AAA. Might offer him arbitration and still cut him in Spring Training but imagine stearns will non tender him or Pina.

    Such a hopeless feeling when Peterson seems to always be up in key spots and no better option to pinch hit for him. A minor miracle that he was able to walk in the first game against the Cardinals, didn't think he had a chance against the lefty.

    As long as Nottingham is in the organization there is a chance for payoff, especially at catcher. Pina was 29 when traded to the Brewers and has given 5 WAR since then.

    Sorry to say, but Counsell is managing the team exactly how Stearns built it to be used. I agree with you however Gyorko's career splits against righties is better than Sogard's so after a game like last night I don't understand why Counsell doesn't try to ride the hot hand when the offense has been so bad. Even when Yuni was hot I was all for letting it ride until he reverted back.

    I would expect a reasonably sized shakeup just based on the number of short term deals to enter the year. Doesn't really matter that it is a small sample size season. Don't expect any of their big pieces like Yelich/Hader/Hiura/Woodruff to be dealt. Not sure if they will continue on the short term deals with options or actually give a decent contract to a free agent.

    Actually kind of surprised Nick Castellanos isn't on the list, does he have a no trade? Would seem to be a slam dunk that he will opt out this season as he will only be 29 during the 2021 season and has some prime year left.

    Wouldn't mind if there was never another preseason game however once fans can go back into the stands they will unfortunately return.

    Claudio is over 5 years now so I presume can't be sent to Appleton anymore.

    Well if he said a 4 letter word live on air he would have been suspended and came back. A homophobic slur is worse and I can't see the Reds wanting to deal with the backlash by giving him another chance. No way the NFL allows him to call games this year or likely ever.

    When you superstar player gets suspended for a headbutt it is going to be talked about, but no I don't think it says anything negative about his character.

    If by surprise you mean the only guy hitting like how you would expect...yes, surprise he is. Right ... Garcia has been consistent throughout the majority of his career so far. He's not going to ever going to be an MVP-type, but it wouldn't surprise me to see him make an All-Star team or two before he's done. He's a solid player, very much in that Geoff Jenkins/Jeromy Burnitz mold. He has been walking more than usual but hasn't shown much power but will probably ultimately end up right around the 830 OPS he has right now.

    Glorified preseason game. Who cares? Right, these regular season games don't matter for the Bucks. What is predictable is they will be the #1 seed no matter what happens in these games.

    Teammates have to do better and respect other players. Brock Holt wears a mask around the bases but everybody still needs to touch him after he scores the winning run. Holt looked miserable and certainly didn't have the look of someone who scored the winning run.

    Probably not but I'll go with a 20% chance. Think it has a chance since it is outside.

    That drives me nuts. I can be patient and drive safe behind a slower person then there is a passing lane with instructions for slower drivers to go right but they stay in the left and speed up while there are two lanes and immediately go slower when back to one.
