  1. I wouldn’t mind if it rotated to Indy, Minnesota, Vegas and maybe Chicago if the Bears get a retractable roof with their new stadium. I also wouldn’t be against the Rose Bowl hosting either.
  2. Apparently there are rumors that the B1G Ten football championship game may move to Las Vegas? The B1G Ten has also denied this but there still isn't an agreement of where the game will be played after the 2024 season.
  3. Will stop complaining about the umpires when you stop complaining about the Brewers. Deal?
  4. Pretty sure this is the only song that is played at Packers games......
  5. Mordecai moved himself out of the pocket by moving into pressure. A lot of the issues Trubisky had Mordecai has. His footwork is just bad right now. He basically sacks himself without the defense providing pressure. It is like he doesn’t trust the offensive line and is moving before he has to. Hopefully he improves a bit as he didn’t look good at all other than checking down to the RB’s.
  6. One he threw behind the receiver and the other he got happy feet and threw to the linebacker near the line of scrimmage. Both interceptions were 100% his fault.
  7. The first half was absolutely horrible. It was bad both offensively and defensively. Good: Second half defense came to play. The adjustments that were made on how they were running their coverage was amazing. The switch from a mainly zone coverage to a more press coverage was a huge scheme change that impacted the game. The zone coverage killed the defense a lot last year and it was one of the things I hated with Leonhard last year. He wouldn't change the defense even if the other team was taking advantage of what he was doing. It is one of the criticisms and things that Leonhard needs to work on if he is ever to become a head coach. He was like PC in that regard where he was to stubborn to make the obvious changes to their game plans. Mellusi finally looks healthy and he showed it in the game. He has the speed and ability to make cuts again. He is finally looking like that NFL like running back that he showed glimpses of before the injuries. Allen looked good catching the ball. I think that will give some teams trouble with him catching the ball. Unfortunately this doesn't really fit into the strengths for Allen as he is more of a north south runner then he is an east west runner. Allen isn't really all that good in space and needs to be able to get some speed built up. Allen is more like Emmit Smith though Emmit did have some east west movement. I think throwing a screen to Allen would be a better use of his skills than throwing to him in space. Though it is tempting to have Allen going up against a DB that is like half his size to get a 5-yard gain. I would like to see more sets where Allen and Mellusi are in the backfield together. On pass plays this could work out really well as Allen is an exceptional pass blocker. I think Mellusi out in space catching balls that Allen was catching would be a better option. The speed and agility of Mellusi is just far more dangerous. Having them both in the backfield would cause issues for most defenses. Do you stack the box and try to take lanes away from Allen or do you try and cover a possible pitch out or pass to Mellusi on the edge? Giving defenses dilemmas instead of problems should be the goal. Problems have solutions dilemmas cause defenses to pick which one they are going to deal with. The only WR that looked good in the game was Pauling. If he were taller I think he would be a legitimate threat in the passing game but at 5'10" it is hard to be an impact player in the passing game. Pauling looks to be the only sure handed receiver in the group. The others really didn't get much of a chance. Offensive line is better than last year though grading them on this game is difficult as Buffalo's defensive line wasn't all that imposing or threatening. Neutral: Defensive line looked better than last year but was still not making much of a push. They were able to stand their ground on a few fourth and 1 situations. Though I think if Buffalo actually runs the ball and doesn't do a QB sneak on one of the plays they would have gotten the 1st down. Offensive play calling. This is a huge improvement from the previous years under PC. They actually made adjustments and fixed some things that were not working. They still tried a few things that were not working in the first half but it is an improvement that they didn't double down on it like PC would do every time. I liked some of the schemes of getting the TE in open space and spreading out the WR from time to time. Still not enough motion before the snap. Bad: QB play was absolutely horrible. Mordecai looked worse than Mertz on the field. Mertz actually had a better game the Mordecai did against a better team in Utah. Mordecai has really bad mechanics with his feet they are worse than Trubisky's. When Mordecai is not dancing around in the pocket he looks like a good QB. His feet got him into more trouble causing either a bad throw or unnecessary pressure. WR play again was lackluster other than Pauling. There was no separation and when there was separation that one time down the field Bell dropped the ball. The WR are probably going to be one of the reasons why the offensive scheme is not going to be all that different from previous years. Defensive scheme in the 1st half was absolutely horrible. The Leonhard style of defense of playing too much zone and playing it at the wrong time killed the defense in the 1st half. On a 3rd and 5 you don't want to be giving a WR a 5 yard cushion and allow them to get the 1st down. This happened a few times in the first half and extended possessions unnecessarily. If they would have played a more press defense in the first half on those short to mid yards to gain I think the defense would have been better. They did make the change in the second half but Buffalo never made an adjustment to this and kept on running the same plays. The redzone defense looked to be more confused on what they were supposed to be doing and who had who. On the two TD passes the DB's looked confused on who was supposed to be where and who was supposed to be covering who. This needs some more discipline. Incomplete: TE's were mostly missing in the game with only Ashcraft getting a few receptions. This maybe more of a game plan issue or there just weren't all that many plays drawn up for the TE's. Linebackers looked good and made some plays when they had to but very little pass rush from the LB's in this game. There were a few blitzes and they were caught in a pass blitz a few times when Buffalo was running the ball. Hard to grade the linebackers when they were not all that involved in the game.
  8. This is weird I am watching the game on Fox but the game sound is louder than the announcers. Not that I am complaining as Smoltz and whoever else is in the booth are rather horrible normally.
  9. This team looks awful right now.
  10. I can see some downside to this but it is fully dependent on what job it is. Nearly all IT jobs can be done remote and the ones that can't are mostly server and physical IT jobs where you can't do them remotely. Obviously a mail room job or a copying job you are going to have to be in the office. At the company I work at all of Executive Directors have to be in office 100% of the time. This is more to do with anyone who wants leadership training or mentoring are able to receive this. But these positions are paid extremely well we are talking about $200k plus a year jobs plus a really good compensation plan. My company has decided to go mostly hybrid there are some positions that are 100% remote but those are jobs that were remote previously. I still believe some of the entry level jobs or low paying jobs like customer service should be 100% remote. Since the pay is so low usually around $25-40k a year the working from home is a real big benefit for those employees. Even doing hybrid for those jobs doesn't make any sense at all. Plus it pushes the cost down for businesses that are employing call centers. Call centers can be extremely expensive to run and to keep running. Far cheaper to give the people a voucher for a laptop or just send them a virtual desktop that only runs work applications and to pay a subsidy for an internet connection. It is just cheaper to do this than to run a call center. For whatever reason some companies are reluctant in doing this probably because it will keep some middle management jobs and those people are fighting for their jobs now that they are no longer needed if they go fully remote.
  11. Yeah I get that hopefully it won't take too long in the off season but it could be that you are working for Stearns and the Mets and you are secretly trying to use the dark mode as an excuse while you create a Mets site that has all the dark mode features working!
  12. Apparently the agent told Moore to get picked up by the Guardians.
  13. @Brock Beauchamp This site seriously hates dark mode. GIF searching: What was typed in: Also tagging is hard to see in dark mode: Another annoying issue is when someone copies over formatting from a website and you get a completely unreadable post with white background highlighting.
  14. Right but it is just getting by the first screening. Once you are able to get past that you should be able to explain why you are looking for a position that doesn't match your current address. Unless the company is looking to hire someone right away then this shouldn't be an issue.
  15. Not sure where you want to relocate to but the TSMC plant here in Phoenix is almost finished, I believe the office part has been finished. None of these are remote positions: Supply Chain Procurement Manager: https://ro.careers.tsmc.com/job/Phoenix-Supply-Chain-Procurement-Manager-AZ-85083/942986610/ Senior Manager of Leadership/Management Development: https://ro.careers.tsmc.com/job/Phoenix-Senior-Manager-of-LeadershipManagement-Development-AZ-85001/940998610/ Supply Chain Logistics Manager: https://ro.careers.tsmc.com/job/Phoenix-Supply-Chain-Logistics-Manager-AZ-85083/942986810/ If you prefer something more centrally located then ONSemi is another company that is hiring here in Phoenix and other locations. This company is in Scottsdale so closer to Tempe and Phoenix. USAA is always hiring out here and a lot of their jobs are 75-100% remote. The USAA campus in Phoenix is on the norther side of Phoenix just north of the I-17 and loop 101 junction. But if I were to work for USAA I would prefer the San Antonio office, I applied to a job there about five years ago and that campus is just awesome.
  16. The NFLPA is going to file a grievance due to RB’s getting the shaft. They are not going to let something like this slide. The valuation that they are placing on JT is about double what they are willing to pay him. Not just now but in the future. They don’t have to offer him anything more but the NFLPA is still going to file a grievance. This is more about the general NFL RB market than it is about JT. This is going to be a grievance against the NFL not the Colts.
  17. If the Colts don't offer him a #1 RB type contract then their evaluation on his trade value is going to make the NFLPA very unhappy. Like I said previously the NFLPA is probably going to file a grievance against the Colts for this and they probably have a good case and may win in arbitration. If you are going to value JT at about $15m and you are only willing to pay less than half of that. That is going to be a tough sell in arbitration when this is brought up. Though this may become nothing if JT gets a contract that helps out the RB's in FA. Possibly something like a 1-year deal with an agreement to not place the franchise tag on him after the season.
  18. The only thing I would suggest is to not include your address in your resume. Name, phone, email or LinkedIn link is all you should really be putting on your resume. Also try applying outside of the industry that you were working in. A few of the new hires that we hired have been outside the banking industry and one outside of the financial industry.
  19. Probably hiding the ball really well.
  20. Agents will have no say as the player has no say on who will pick them. So it is matching players to teams.
  21. Nothing in the MLB rule book that is publicly available that I could find. So your guess is as good as mine.
  22. Of the teams ahead of the Brewers who need bullpen help are: Phillies, Cubs, Blue Jays, Rangers, Dbacks and Red Sox. One of those teams are going to take Moore before the Brewers even get a chance to pick him up. There aren't enough players on the waiver wire to get past this many teams, The Giants or the Reds probably take one of the starting pitchers while the Cubs, Phillies, Blue Jays, Rangers, Dbacks and Red Sox pick over the relief pitchers. The Rangers are in desperate need of relief pitching so if Moore is there then they are probably going to pick him up.
