  1. Of the three I prefer Griffin.
  2. Not this stupid conspiracy theory again. The magical curving JFK bullet conspiracy and flat earthers are more believable than this trash.
  3. I still want a head coach that hasn't had experience. This team needs new ideas not ones stuck in the past.
  4. The NHL will try until there are no options left in Phoenix to keep the team here. For whatever reason the NHL will not let go of Phoenix even if it means the team plays in a college arena. I don't see the NHL moving the Coyotes to Milwaukee unless Milwaukee moves to the southwest. That is the only way the city of Milwaukee would be getting the Coyotes.
  5. Majority of the 14 appearances the Brewers were already well behind in. In 7 of his 14 appearances he gave up 0 runs. The last guy in the bullpen is usually the guy you put in when the game is out of hand. He was the last guy in the bullpen and he fulfilled what the Brewers wanted from him. In replacing Wei-Chung Wang the Brewers would have had to have a really good bullpen piece to replace him with which they did not. Replacing Wei-Chung Wang probably would have meant more innings from Henderson who was almost as bad as Wang was.
  6. Pure eye test on him and I think there is some power that the Brewers could tap into and they wouldn't have to alter his swing mechanics all that much. He just needs to add some more launch angle and bulk up a little bit and he should be good.
  7. That 2014 team was not a playoff contending team.
  8. Late but wanted to put mine in anyways. 1. Jackson Chourio 2. Jeferson Quero 3. Daniel Guilarte (probably the best pure hitter in the Brewers system right now if he can add some power he could be a real threat at the plate kind of reminds me of a shorter Hanley Ramirez). 4. Jacob Misiorowski 5. Tyler Black 6. Carlos Rodriguez (P) 7. Sal Frelick 8. Robert Gasser 9. Eric Brown 10. Luis Lara 11. Abner Uribe 12. Hendry Mendez 13. Alexander Cornielle 14. Matthew Wood 15. Freddy Zamora 16. Alexander Vallecillo 17. Patricio Aquino 18. Ethan Small 19. Clayton Andrews 20. Luke Adams
  9. Probably best to either eliminate the Rule 5 draft or increase the 40-man cap from 40 to 42-44. Another option would be to instead of having to add the player to your 40-man you can exchange international signing or amateur draft money to the team that loses a player in the Rule 5 draft. The slot value for a Rule 5 draft would be $50k which would be $100k under a 10th round pick. A team could draft 3 players in the Rule 5 draft and would be basically giving up a 10th round pick for those 3 players.
  10. No the NHL wants to keep the team in AZ. If they move it would be to Salt Lake City or Austin.
  11. When I was younger we only had 8 players on our little league team every year. Someone either got hurt or quit. Somehow we were able to place 3rd one year with only 8 people on the team. Not sure how you could manage with 15. That is hard to keep everyone’s attention throughout the whole game when 6 are sitting on the bench at times.
  12. Should be an interesting umpire score card on this one.
  13. I would be ok with Quinn what about Adrian Griffin or Charles Lee? Lee is currently a finalist for the Pistons job but why not just keep him instead?
  14. I really want someone who hasn’t been a HC but no idea on who that should be.
  15. It is also about time to send Wiemer down. He just doesn't look ready at all to be facing MLB pitching.
  16. I believe the Brewers have to seriously consider putting in an opener for Peralta or he needs to learn how to settle down and not come into the game so amped up.
  17. No thanks his players absolutely quit on him after the first quarter in their last game.
  18. As a former manager of mine would say “Yes”?
  19. 1. Trade Hiura and a prospect to the Reds for Senzel and DFA Voit. 2. Sign Britton and then work out a trade with the Dodgers for Varland once Britton is ready.
  20. I think that gets you really close but I don't think the Brewers would want to include Misi/Rodriguez in that deal. I think they would feel more comfortable with Gasser over Misi/Rodriguez and I think the White Sox would prefer Gasser also as he is closer to MLB. I think it would be something like Frelick, Gasser, Black and then someone like Mendez, Lara or Moore. That would be about 50m in surplus value which is about what Robert is worth. I am not sure the White Sox do this deal but I think it is very close to what they would want in return for Robert. It would then allow the Brewers to put Robert in LF or CF and then place Yelich at DH if Winker doesn't improve. Also I think the White Sox would dump Moncada if they could but he has been injured more than he has been on the field for them. I don't think Moncada has much if any value at all. Another option would be Nick Senzel from the Reds. Currently Senzel is hitting .522/.560/.870 for a 280 wRC+ against LHP but against RHP he is only hitting .169/.246/.237 for a 29 wRC+. He would be a strict platoon bat. Something like Hiura and Rodriguez (OF) for Senzel would be about right value wise. I am not sure the Reds would be willing to let Senzel go but getting Hiura back in the trade would soften the blow a little bit for them. Rodriguez (OF) is also probably a better prospect than what Senzel is really worth. I added some value due to it being an in division trade.
  21. I was also thinking of a Frelick plus for Robert. I am not sure if the White Sox would be interested but I would do it.
  22. Not exactly. While Winker hasn't hit for power yet he still has a very respectable OBP.
  23. They didn't really lose anything with trading Wong. .188 / .283 / .213.
  24. That sounded like a home run ball but it just absolutely died.
