    Nice to see a solid outing from Smith. He was a great story and I loved watching Seth’s interview with him Shane just loves baseball and he seems like a good guy to root for.

    Biloxi - nice to see Brown, Boeve, Wilken, Clarke and Miller at 1-5. I can only hope this wakes up that offense. The past 2 weeks have been ... challenging for the offense.

    With Lara, O'Rae you get a lot of on base (walks, some hits, and HBP with O'Rae), and Barrios hitting. Speed on the base paths too. The club can score some runs without ever hitting the ball out of the infield.

    I know I can look back at other reports, but what is his arsenal? I know he is really young, and hasn't fully developed, so the fastball is not super high. Like 89-92, did I remember reading that? No matter what. An 18 yo having a good start to low A when most 18 years old are finishing out HS seasons in the hopes of getting drafted, showing up for possible complex league or low A next year. Very impressive so far from this young man.

    Interestingly no mention of why his was removed Saturday, and not in the line up Sunday. Hopefully nothing serious. He has been hitting well, would like to see him develop into a reserve OF in the bigs.

    Offense has gone to sleep this week. Other than Willy and William not much hitting. Turang has cooled, Frelick looks lost at times, and Hoskins has the power, but not getting enough hits - still a timing thing, or will he be someone we hope opts out?? With the pitching no longer being the backbone (like 2020-2023 Brewers) the offense needs to be above average (2018-2019 era) in order for the team to contend for playoffs. The offense has looked mostly lost this week and last week too.

    Hey there's the positive in the otherwise gloomy Sunday. Brewers losses really seem to get me down, especially when it's against division rivals, and like 10x more against the dang Cubs and there manager, whatever his name is. I hope EBJ and Wilken can get the Shuckers going. Or my typo above will be more relevant ... Biloxi Suckers. Some decent pitching the past 2 days, but still ineffective with pitch counts for Misio, CF Rod, Gasser. But I'll take that over alternatives any day (injury, poor outings).

    Well I guess the organization is consistent today. High pitch counts, and very little offense going. Milwaukee 0 runs, Biloxi 0 run (only 1 hit), and TRats 6 hits (2 runs and 2 hits in the first, then 1 R and 4H the next 8 innings). ‘Peralta, Misiorowski and Gasser all with high pitch counts - walks and strikeouts. Cubs in first place. Just a bummer of a weekend.

    Suckers bats remain way way too quiet - only 1 hit, a double by D. Miller (on base all three trip, H, 2BB). Still 0-0 Gasser gave up a HR and labored thru 2, 44 pitches with 2BB, 3H and 4K. Sounds down 2-1 looking to get something going in the bottom of 3. Wisconsin trying to,stay tied 3-3. Costello on. Double, caught stealing, walk, stolen base, and now a hit. Down 4-3. First run Costello allowed on the young season.

    Misiorowski now thru 5. still 0–0. He’s at 87 pitches. I expect his day is done. 8K, 4BB and only 2H. Very nice. Need the bats to come alive for the Shuckers. Wisconsin 3-3. A pitching change to get thru 6. And Gasser labored thru the first inning. 25 pitches, 2H, 1Bb, 1k, 1run.

    Biloxi had bases loaded with only 1 out. GIDP by Dirden. on to the bottom of the 4th. 0-0 in Appleton, Jimenez pitching well. 2-0 TRats.

    And fly out, strike out, and strike out. A W in Nashville. Solid pitching. 18 K, with only 2BB and 3 H. kahle, miller and Hernandez led with 2 H apiece.

    Rob Z on to close it out for Nashville. Still 5-2 and scoreless in game7 after 2 in Boston vs Toronto — for hockey fans.

    Now Holub strikes out the side - Holliday, Norby, Mayo 😳😳😳 Middendorf and Holub with nice innings against essentially MLB caliber hitters there.

    Yeah Gardner gave up hits to start the 8th, and tried to dance around, but a wild pitch moved them and a 2 out single got 2 runs across. ‘Top 9 with a 5 run deficit. Time for the bats to really break out

    You can on MILB.com TV account. It costs. I didn’t sign up this year. I do ”watch” the Gameday play by play box scores. That’s free though on Milb.com scoreboards. Others her must watch thru Milb.com, or some through local/team sites. Some on free online periodically. Wisconsin has a YouTube page to watch game recaps which are good.

    Carlos D Rodriguez exited and was replaced. Bunted in the top 1, played field bottom 1, He caught the third out. Then bottom of 2, he was replaced. Can’t find any news to explain- with the way this year is going, I worry he got hurt. in Nashville, Middendorf gave up double then single, now 3-2 game.

    Middendorf strikes out the side - Norby, Mayo, Stowers 😳 on to the bottom of the 6th in Nashville Biloxi runner on base and two fly outs to end the inning. Bottom 8, 6-3. Need a big inning with the bats

    Biloxi down 6-3. Rough start for Seminaris. Offense ok - 9 hits, only a double not other XBH. It would be great to see them have a big inning or two at the plate. Carolina, suspended - so resume tomorrow is what it sounded like.
