  1. more uniforms the better, they need one for each day of the week so they dont wear the same thing two days in a row. such a fashion faux pas
  2. im guessing 7 million with performance bonuses, only because of his health history, well, and the fact that he clearly wasnt worth $13 million to the brewers for one year, and he's been floating as a FA for a little over 2 months now.
  3. They will love him over there.
  4. The Mets have agreed to sign free agent right-hander Shaun Marcum to a one-year deal, Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com reports (Twitter links). Turner Gary Sports represents Marcum, whose deal is pending a physical. The Mets' agreement with Marcum represents the team's first major free agent addition of the offseason, as MLBTR's Free Agent Tracker shows. The right-hander joins a rotation that includes Johan Santana, Jon Niese, Dillon Gee and Matt Harvey. Right-handed prospects Jenrry Mejia and Zack Wheeler could also contribute to the Mets in 2013, but they no longer seem likely to begin the season in the rotation. Marcum pitched for the Brewers this past season, posting a 3.70 ERA with 7.9 K/9, 3.0 BB/9 and a 35.4% ground ball rate in 124 innings over the course of 21 starts. The 31-year-old missed approximately two months due to elbow tightness in 2012 and his average fastball velocity remained well below 90 mph at 86.5 mph. Marcum, who joined the Brewers in a trade with Toronto following the 2010 season, has a career ERA of 3.76 with 7.3 K/9, 2.8 BB/9 and a 38.7% ground ball rate in seven MLB seasons. 6. Brewers Sign Bobby Crosby By Ben Nicholson-Smith [January 22 at 2:16pm CST] The Brewers signed Bobby Crosby to a minor league contract with an invitation to MLB Spring Training, Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports reports (on Twitter). The deal would pay Crosby $800K if he makes the team and includes $450K in incentives. TWC Sports represents the former AL Rookie of the Year. Crosby, who turned 33 this month, last played at the MLB level in 2010. He has a .236/.304/.372 batting line over the course of eight big league seasons and has at least 20 games of experience at all four infield positions. 13. Yeah but he's tearing it up in Venezuela apparently AND he's in good shape! lol haha had no idea! just wanted to make sure everyone knew that he's barely been in MLB/MLiB in almost 5 years. I know its mainly injury-related... but thats a long hiatus from the best league in the world.

I've uploaded a copy as an attachment. 1992casey
  18. there will be no cap until after 2016, the MLBPA will never consent to amending the current CBA to put a cap in place, and even when the contract expires and they are negotiating a new CBA, a salary cap will never make it onto the final voted Agreement.
