    I dunno, I think the season ticket holders would enjoy the 20 W - 13 L home record so far (never mind the -5 run differential). Meanwhile all those road runs (& the corresponding +35 differential) have only shaken out to a 16 W - 19 L record.

    The main reason is it’s easier to control his workload in the lower stakes environs of AAA than it is in the fighting for a playoff spot MLB. After 97 IP last year I’d guess they want to keep Misio around 130 or so this year. With 63 IP already under his belt let’s say that leaves around 70 yet to throw. That’s fourteen starts at five innings each, but there are still eighteen trips through a five man rotation after Thursday. I guess 18 x 4 gets you to 72 too. The math more or less dictates that it will take some degree of creativity to have Misio pitching meaningful innings in Sept (& hopefully Oct). Think the thought process would be something like giving him a mini breather here for the rest of June/July (extra days / lower innings in AAA) sets him up better to help the MLB team down the stretch (& hopefully beyond) after a spot or two open up at the deadline.

    Durbin is hitting 246/338/391 (107 wRC+) during the Brewers recent 15 W - 7 L run. Ortiz is at 230/338/328 (95 wRC+) over that same stretch. Nothing earth shattering by any means, but massive improvements (some might call it positive regression) on the 53 and 26 wRC+ marks they were sporting on May 17th.

    Drats. Hard not to feel for Tobias. Demetrio giveth (two run HR) and taketh away (walkoff error). Such is life…On The Complex.

    Griffin Tobias back out for the sixth and works around a leadoff single to put up another zero, adding another strikeout.

    Outside of the solo homer Griffin Tobias has only allowed a single over four frames with three strikeouts. He has yet to walk a batter in 19.2 IP. Jadyn Fielder has four triples already (on the season, not this game).

Manuel Moreno scoreless through four with 3 H | 1 BB | 1 HBP | 3 K.
