  1. As a Badger fan, I think these games have the same vibe as playing Ohio State in football. Just hanging on for dear life, knowing if you play perfectly, you can win, but end up making rather uncharacteristic errors. It sucks.
  2. Can Will Smith just go away, please?
  3. Sure hate to see what the Brewers have given up to the bottom half of the Dodger order in this series. Especially because it gives extra at bats to the top half.
  4. Since falling behind 3-0 yesterday, Brewers have outscored LA 8-1. DOMINANCE!
  5. I’m exhausted after being at that game. So full of highs and lows. I was in the 300s and I kept getting up to walk off my nerves when I’m usually pretty calm.
  6. Do you think Paredes will pitch again this year? Didn't they just move him to the 60-day? It seems as if Enoli has hit...the wall* *See, that's hilarious, because paredes means "walls" in Spanish.
  7. Pittsburgh is in a rough stretch. Dropped like a rock to the bottom of the division in a week. Just look at their post-ASB schedule. Philly, StL, AZ for 6, SD for 6, Houston and the Dodgers. I know the quality of competition is tough with those teams, but the Pirates have a lot of pieces, including a starting rotation that is envy of a lot of teams.
  8. Back to 17 over. 2.5 games from the best record in the NL. Tobiace Cyers going tonight. Exciting times.
  9. 16 games over, 101+ run diff, 15-15 since July 1, this series was good for the soul. Forget the Dodgers, Brewers are three games out of the best record in the NL.
  10. Quincy Hall was flailing so badly, he looked more likely to finish 8th than 1st. I saw him come around the corner and thought he was tying up. Amazing run. Looking forward to the 200.
  11. I know it was yesterday, but the men's 1500 was outstanding. Not often a race without a rabbit comes in within 1.3 seconds of the world record. Ingebrigtsen and Kerr's beef is great, but Ingebrigtsen was so obsessed with keeping Kerr behind him he gave Hocker the inside lane. Inexcusable, but probably an indicator that Inge knew he was fading and was doing everything he could to hang on. And Gabby Thomas in the 200 was simply amazing to behold.
  12. ESPN's headline initially said the Valdez threw the second no-hitter of his career. I checked the box score and they had removed him for Hader. ESPN jumped the gun a little bit.
  13. Out of town, missed the game, but the results have some of you...wired.
  14. I looked it up. After you predicted a 12-16 April and a 12-18 May, the team did the exact opposite at 34-24. So you sat out June and July until they started July with a 5-8 record, then chimed in. Now you are back with an 11-17 prediction after dropping some snark in the optimism thread. I get to add you to my ignore list, I guess.
  15. So you’re onto their perpetual gaslighting, you don’t believe they are trying to win a series, Attanasio isn’t going anywhere, what keeps you coming back?
  16. Wow, nice call on that 2-1 for the Brewers
  17. So stupid that the Dodgers picked up Turner and Scherzer at the 2021 deadline.
