  1. 10 innings, 8 walks, 1 run. Maddening.
  2. So nice to turn it on and see one pitch, a 6-4-3 DP by Adames. Dammit
  3. I got every prediction on a spreadsheet. Let me know and I can paste it in.
  4. 1200+ feet of fly balls to the first three hitters is not ideal.
  5. Not to mention he looks like he’s having fun. Put a stop to that. And now he homers. Show off.
  6. No kidding. That one about left me speechless.
  7. Who do we have who can pitch to an ERA at or under 36.00 this inning?
  8. That’s it. I’m buying a #11 jersey.
  9. You really don’t understand optimism.
  10. Thank you Atlanta. Game one is over. 3-2 over Cards in 10.
  11. “I was checking the percentage of the time that getting on base only meant getting to first base and no further. The Brewers ranked first in baseball at 78.4%. Despite that fact, the Brewers have made 1,038 plate appearances with runners in scoring position. That’s tied for the most in baseball.“ well, that’s fascinating. Thanks!
  12. It’s the optimism thread. Of course he will.
  13. And there were a number of soft contact bloops and bleeders that found the outfield grass. Some bad Cubs’ luck. You just hate to see it!
  14. I have always preferred Granite Curb for Brice Turang. That is all.
  15. Posted this in another thread: Since 2018, their record after the ASB is 204-142. That's 59%, with four of the five seasons being over 60%. If they won at that 59% pace the rest of the year, they would end up with 93 wins.
  16. Why do you think the last six full seasons have had the Brewers playing terribly the week before the all-star game? They are 14-27 in the full Monday to Sunday during the week before the break since 2018. Coincidence? It gives me hope since they have managed to snap out of it for the most part in the past five full seasons. Since 2018, their record after the ASB is 204-142. That's 59%, with four of the five seasons being over 60%. If they won at that 59% pace the rest of the year, they would end up with 93 wins.
  17. Didn't you hear? MLB just signed Members Only as the new uniform manufacturer.
  18. Those AL pajamas and the NL softball uniforms are just awful
  19. Hey, Civale, welcome! First start, Dodgers in LA. Second start, a matchup with Mr. Skenes. I hope the Brewers wipe that stupid mustache off of his face.
  20. You have got to be kidding me.
  21. Since 2018, the Brewers are 12-24 in the week before the all-star break. That includes the infamous 5-game sweep in Pittsburgh in 2018. They are 1-8 against the Pirates in that time. I hope that Yelich and Contreras decide they have a nagging injury and the whole team gets to rest from a week of baseball I couldn't care less about. Let Philly get a couple more than the seven players they already have on the team. Find a rookie with fewer starts than Skenes and let him go. Maybe the Padres have another guy who has played fewer games at second than Arraez that can get chosen over Turang. Tyler Wade has played 11 games for San Diego at second, choose him along with Arraez and his SIX games at second. This team needs a few days off. Maybe I do, too.
  22. Is there any concern with Sanchez? He went on the 10-day IL on June 26. He was eligible to come back on July 4. I guess there is no reason to rush him back.
