    It’s funny that you can see the switch flip on Carolina when they realize they’re infinitely more talented than everyone else.

    Any updates on Pena, Payne, and Adamczewski? I think both Payne and Adamczewski had taken foul balls off the ankle in previous days (and some HBPs). Pena, I’ve heard nothing.

    Adamczewski, Payne, and Pena all being varying levels of hurt (after Made was banged up already this year) is a bit of a buzzkill. The bottom half of the lineup being tough outs has carried them in more than a few games. A big hit or two from someone back there almost every game, especially with the top half walking so much.

    I only follow box scores, but I swear Bitonti has turned a couple double plays throwing a guy out at 3rd after a putout this season. This one with the bases loaded and no outs in the 9th. Still getting to show off his 3B skills.

    Not watching, but gamecast says Made left the game after a HBP on the foot.

    Carlos Rodriguez having a very good game. Feels like he’s a slight velocity uptick away from being a real nice major leaguer. If he could get that 93 up to a 95, oh boy.

    That Carolina team is a nightmare. A ton of talent at the top, and everyone in the order works long ABs.

    I think that comp pick for Levonas is going to be a very signable player. Maybe even a senior. We lose that pick if we can't sign whoever we take there, and the slot for that pick should be around $1.5mil.

    And that’s not counting Made and DiTuri who was a million dollar bonus guy who could be figuring it out too. Di Turi was also featured in a Baseball America article in the offseason about great swing decisions (along with Bitonti).

    Any updates on Made? Some of these Carolina kids will be promoted by the time he gets back at this rate.

    I doubt anyone has pitchers as young as ours. Think every game has been started by teenagers so far.

    Should also be noted that this single A Cubs team that Carolina is playing has one player born in 2005 on the entire roster. Carolina has 10. Along with 6 in 2006, and Made in 2007.

    Payne, Adamczewski, and Bitonti aren’t in Carolina for long. 6 for 6 so far in all lefty/lefty matchups.

    Even when Carolina sits a bunch of talent on offense, they go and bring a ton of young pitching.

    I don't see this AAA outfield being good enough to keep Black out. Black and Quero in AA is going to make that team a much more fun follow than it originally looked.

    Put Anderson at one of those OF spots, and that 1-7 in Carolina is unreal prospect-wise.

    I hope Rock has a blast. Being on an ESPN national broadcast, opening day.... Has got to feel like the peak of a awesome career.

    Bitonti with a 113mph line drive off the wall for a single. I’m only listening to the game and the crowd gasped.
