I don’t think it’s entirely a coincidence that the first full year in a new DSL facility aligns with a possibly generational group of prospects. These kids may be a bit more prepared both physically and mentally than our usual 17 year olds.
They also have the added benefit of seeing someone only three years older than them getting $80,000,000 and contending for Rookie of the Year.
If ever there was a time to push some kids in A ball, this feels like it. Get all of them (Made, Pena, Anderson, Quintana, and Ortuno) around Chourio in the spring and hopefully that drives them even more.
