  1. One request, if you are linking to a video can you please post timestamps or use a timestamped link like @MilwaukeeBeers did with his link in the OP.
  2. Need to take care of business these next two games before we face Skubal on Thursday.
  3. 4 DRS to 2 DRS favoring Hoerner. 1 baserunning run to 0 favoring Hoerner. That's your gap in WAR despite Turang hitting a bit better. Also Turang missed a couple games due to ankle tendinitis so Hoerner has 13 more PA than him.
  4. Pitching at Charlotte has to be one of the worst places to pitch in pro baseball. No humidor because it's AAA and just laughably small park dimensions.
  5. Yeah I was thinking $40M to buy out his final 3 years of Arb. 8, 12, 20 per year so 8/210 would leave 5/170 for buying out FA which is 34M a year which feels quite steep. Feel like it's tough to find comps because not many players sign extensions when they have already hit Arb. Personally speaking, I think the Brewers should extend Turang. He's shown the bat is legit at this point I think. I think he's the type of guy we should trying to keep around like a Braun/Yelich.
  6. That feels a bit steep no? Turang you'd be buying out 3 years of Arb. Nico's entire contract was buying out FA years.
  7. Bulldog I’m sorry but it’s 2026, using batting average to determine if a hitter is good or not is remotely accurate to describe hitter quality.
  8. Brewers will be much better off when guys like Matos, Jones, Perkins, and Lockridge are off the big league roster.
  9. You don't understand why fans might be more lenient towards a guy having a slow start coming off a 114 wRC+ season than a guy having a slow start coming off a 67 wRC+ season?
  10. Don't have time to look into the numbers but you can find minor league statcast data through the minor league search feature on baseball savant. Here's a link - https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/statcast-search-minors
  11. I'd say there's a chance Crow stays up and just moves to the bullpen. I think it depends on how he pitches today. If he has a short outing and they burn a lot of the pen then they probably swap him out for a fresh arm. If he pitches well and goes like 5 innings and the pen is in fine shape then he might stay up and get pushed into the pen.
  12. Diaz still has another year of control after this year so don't think Tampa would be trading him unless they are out of the race and trying to save some money. Even then Diaz is a 1B/DH so not a great fit on our roster unless Vaughn just isn't the same guy post hamate injury.
  13. Peoria doing unholy things to the Timber Rattlers pitching staff tonight
  14. Ebel has gotten off to a slow start in his pro career. Between this year and last he's slashing .172/.297/.183 in 111 PA. Only one extra base hit.
  15. Signing him to that contract is about 7-10 years from now buying out FA years. That doesn’t mean he’s ready now. You don’t sign these guys for immediate payouts.
  16. Vinny Rottino is such a homer. Claims he doesn't see anything wrong with Megill's stuff when his velo, spin, and stuff+ are all considerably down.
  17. I never said they will be worse. I just disagreed with you comment saying "they can't possibly be worse"
  18. Shouldn't that also apply to the guys on the MLB roster that you want to replace?
  19. Also just realized Payne didn't play in either of the DH games today. Is he hurt as well?
  20. Looks like Adamczewski might have gotten hurt when he crashed into the wall in LF after his catch as I don't think he's played a game since then?
  21. If they have real talent and hit tools then why have they stunk it up in AAA to start the year in both surface level numbers and underlying numbers?
  22. It could most definitely be worse. Williams and Pratt are hitting just as bad as the current left side of the infield and they are doing it facing AAA pitching.
  23. Even though the Brewers are 8-7 there are some pretty concerning areas that aren't related to Chourio/Vaughn being injured. 1. The left side of the infield looks really bad and Williams and Pratt have given little reason to believe they can help fix that in the near future. 2. The bullpen is a mess. Megill, Uribe, and Zerpa have all seen their stuff drop off considerably compared to last year. Koenig is hurt. 3. The OF depth looks to be a problem. Even when Chourio returns, they don't look like they can absorb Mitchell getting injured.
  24. The Brewers having a terrible series and getting swept by the Nationals in these ugly "City" Connect uniforms is certainly not going to help the already negative fan opinion of these jerseys
