    Bryse Wilson just is a mop up guy. He has no business being a SP in the MLB. He can't get LHH out. They are 3-5 with a HR and BB against him today. Had a .944 OPS on the season coming into tonight.

    It's reasonable. I thought he scores on that if he gets a good read. He clearly had no clue how the defense was positioned in the infield so he turn back to 2B.

    Believe this dates back to when he was a Pirate. If I remember correctly he's the guy whose cell phone flew out of his pocket while he was sliding into 3rd after legging out a triple. Did dude keep his phone on him to live bet games lol?

    Feel like this perfectly nails how I feel about it. We can scrape by in the regular season with so-so starting pitching. In the playoffs is where losing a guy like Burnes would really hurt.

    Fry for Mejia is looking pretty terrible right now. Olson and Fry trades definitely looking like the 2 worst of the Stearns era.

    Originally it was thought to be no. Then it changed to yes. Hopefully it stays as a yes because he's a legit threat for that ROY award right now.

    We unfortunately have to wait another day for the DSL Brewers season to start. DSL Brewers 2 had no scheduled game today and DSL Brewers 1 were rained out. Bummer.

    Yeah he is, but Sanchez is not slouch. He'd be by far our best SP this year and he's their #4.

    Him or Milner. Might just use an opener all series. Schwarber and Harper hitting 1 and 3 basically every day for Philly.

    And we traded from an area of extreme depth in SP and RP. Rasmussen in general was an extreme injury risk, so the fact he had a major injury after leaving is not at all surprising.

    When you know you're not actually going to use your A-pen you shouldn't be playing for 1 run. If Devin Williams or Trevor Megill were pitching the 9th sure, but Enoli Paredes was.

    B-Tier is too low for the Adames trade. Adames has put up 13.2 fWAR since that trade which is 22nd most among position players in that time. Rasmussen and Feyereisen have put up 6.8 fWAR since that trade. Adames remains highly underrated by this fanbase and that's just his on the field value not even factoring in what he means in the clubhouse.

    Only mistake was trying to get 3 innings out of Herget after he threw 2 innings on Friday. Our A-pen needed a day.

    I looked at it earlier this week and since 2021 Freddy has gone 6 IP in under 50% of his starts compared to Burnes and Woodruff both being above 70%. All 3 of these guys have very good stuff, Burnes is a legit ace. Woodruff when healthy is an ace. Freddy just lags behind.

    Freddy to me has ace level stuff but without the consistency and efficiency of an ace.

    Not a good start from Freddy but getting through 5 IP after going 43 pitches in inning 1 was pretty big for the pen.
