  1. Uhhh Hoskins mostly definitely does not have a short, compact swing. He has the 7th longest average swing length in the MLB this year and just marginally shorter than Adames who has the 5th longest swing. https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/leaderboard/bat-tracking?attackZone=&batSide=&contactType=&count=&dateStart=&dateEnd=&gameType=&groupBy=&isHardHit=&minSwings=q&minGroupSwings=1&pitchHand=&pitchType=&seasonStart=&seasonEnd=&team=&type=batter&vizX=avg_sweetspot_speed_mph_qualified&vizY=swing_length_qualified&sortColumn=swing_length_qualified&sortDirection=desc
  2. Yeah if Brewers optioned Milner he could reject the option and become a FA
  3. Peguero still has 2 options left. Peguero, Koenig, Myers are the only pitchers on the active roster who have options and are under 5 years service time.
  4. Hall is being activated tomorrow.
  5. Elvis has options so I can't imagine he gets DFA'd. He's certainly a candidate to be optioned though. Just can't see him being DFA'd when guys like Ashby, Herget, Jay, Capra are on the 40-man.
  6. I don't know for sure about Super 2 status, but I think he will be Super 2 which would mean 2 more pre-arb years then 4 years of arbitration. Free agent after the 2030 season. If he's not Super 2 it would mean 3 more pre-arb years then 3 years of arbitration.
  7. Also there's the fact he was used in a tie game with an inherited runner in the 8th inning tonight. He's clearly not a candidate to be DFA'd at this point.
  8. Oh I said earlier in this thread that I feel like early season Hudson won't be back again this year. Seems he was ridden into the ground and he just can't regain the juice this year. Will be interesting to see what they do with him. I imagine he will go straight back to the MLB pen after this rehab assignment but if he struggles they might option him.
  9. Seems highly unlikely considering he entered in a tie game with a runner on base in the 8th inning tonight.
  10. Who knows. Maybe if the umps didn't blow that blatant interference by Judge against us earlier this year we would have the best run differential in the MLB on August 10th
  11. Max Lazar's first MLB strikeout!
  12. Oh I totally agree with you there Joseph, but I think the Brewers have zero interest in burning Hall's final option. As one of the two pieces in the Burnes return, I doubt they want to have a potential situation next year where Hall is out of options and a DFA candidate
  13. Hoby has passed 5 years service time, so he would need to agree to an option. I guess he could agree to that, but feels unlikely.
  14. I don't know if he or Ross are starting tomorrow probably a piggy back type situation, but it's not going to be Rea. Brewers have had the starter for tomorrow left empty all weekend. If it was Rea he would just be listed as the starter.
  15. I'm sure this is what teams were saying about us keeping Logan Henderson in A ball all season last year haha
  16. At least Susana was promoted. Imagine if he was still in that rotation. Down East is also only 3 games behind the Nationals. It's like we are being conspired against.
  17. Yeah I agree. His command/control is no worse than Uribe who was pretty good last year in the bullpen.
  18. Seems like it. They said he's in Milwaukee.
  19. Why do you think he's a few years away from being capable of pitching in an MLB bullpen?
  20. What do we think is the corresponding move for Hall getting activated tomorrow? Peguero optioned and Milner phantom IL/DFA feel like the most likely to me.
  21. Bullpen guy in a few years? Think your timeline might be a bit off there
  22. Well it depends if Sykora and Clemmey are still in A ball come then. I think we have seriously struggled against those 2 and in a playoff setting they likely would line up those two to pitch if they don't get promoted.
  23. I don't look forward to the Mudcats playing the Nationals in the playoffs. Feel like the Nats have owned the Mudcats this year.
  24. I don't want to bring down the mood, but Hudson's rehab assignment has not been inspiring. I feel like we aren't getting early season Hudson back again this year.
  25. Yeah I think he will be Super 2. He was called up in the 2nd half of April then went down for like 2 weeks.
