  1. They could but Misiorowski is already the listed starter for tomorrow
  2. Frelick was just hitting leadoff against a LHP yesterday so doesn't seem like that's the reason.
  3. Myers going 5 innings just isn't a realistic expectation. He hasn't made a full start since the 4th of July and since that start he's thrown more than 50 pitches just 1 time. He's not stretched out to go 4-5 innings anymore.
  4. Well I guess we will see. I'd put under 25% odds that the Brewers have a not fully stretched out Gasser make his season debut on Saturday while coming back from TJ surgery.
  5. What starters are showing clear fatigue? Peralta and Quintana are seasoned vets. Priester is still 26 innings from hitting his career high. I'm not seeing clear fatigue from Misiorowski or Woodruff.
  6. They don't really need another starter. Only 3 of the remaining 8 games would require a starter to pitch on 4 days rest. Woodruff, Misiorowski, Priester, Quintana, Peralta, Woodruff, Misiorowski, Priester then off day.
  7. Can't imagine that the Brewers will be starting a not fully stretched out Robert Gasser pitching on 4 days rest two starts in a row while coming off TJ
  8. Interesting Brewers lineup. I can't really make sense of the Turang-Frelick flip flopping in the order lately. Also really surprised that Lockridge isn't out there against a LHP after a really strong offensive game yesterday.
  9. I think you have to just hope the Brewers can stand pat these next 10 games. You have the final 8 of the 19 in 18 stretch and then the Phillies. If Brewers can stand pat only losing/gaining 0.5 games then you'd feel pretty great considering the Cubs play the Giants, Rockies, and Braves.
  10. Brewers simply need a starter to come out and throw 7 shutout innings. Save the bullpen and give the suddenly ice cold offense some breathing room. 19 in 18 with our starters barely going 5 innings and offense not scoring has our bullpen running on fumes.
  11. 5 game division lead. We have ourselves a division race. Thank goodness they won the must win closer of the Cubs series or it would be a 3 game lead.
  12. Kind of shocked the roof is half closed.
  13. Also I'll say it again. Tobias is not full stretched out. He hasn't had a fully stretched out start since the 4th of July. Patrick is actually stretched out.
  14. I'd feel better if the Brewers didn't have 9 more games until an off day with their pitching depth looking in shambles and a very tired bullpen.
  15. Brewers SP have been very underwhelming in the first 10 games of this 19 and 18 stretch. Only 4 of the 10 starts have gotten an out in the 6th inning and 2 of those 4 only got 1 out. Our starts are putting our relievers in a pretty awful spot. IP by our SP in each game 1.1 5.1 6.1 6 5 4.1 4 4.1 5.1 5
  16. No that's not true. If you're the 27th man for a doubleheader then that rule doesn't apply.
  17. Well he also got a BB in the 1st inning as well
  18. I'm thinking Jeferson Quero might be back. Just hit 108 EV, 430ft HR off a 96mph FB at the top of the zone
  19. Looks like 4 DSL players were released yesterday. DSL Brewers Blue released SS Joan Gutierrez DSL Brewers Blue released RHP Luis Velasquez DSL Brewers Gold released OF Pedro Tovar DSL Brewers Gold released RHP Saul Sanchez
  20. Also with Myers he can't be recalled from AAA until 9/3 because he needs to be down for 15 days. It would require an IL stint to get him back up.
  21. Id guess it’s Patrick not Myers. Myers just isn’t stretched out to be an actual starter. He hasn’t had a fully stretched out start in over a month in a half.
  22. Frankly I thought he did a really good job there staying composed while falling over multiple times making sure he touched the base correctly.
