All is well. It's 2-2. No sweat.

 

The ball hit at Hall was a rocket, if he fielded that it would have been one of the plays of the year. The ball hit to Braun maybe could have been caught, but playing LF when a left handed batter is up and he kills the ball is tough to play, the kind of play was bound to happen with Braun sooner or later. He came close but not quite. I think he'll get that in the future.

 

Time to start over, we literally stole 2 runs from them, they worked their butts off for their 2. We'll get more!

Weeks just tied the all-time record for consecutive games scoring a run, with 16, tying Molitor.

According to Wikipedia, two players (Red Rolfe and Kenny Lofton) had 18 game streaks.

The second inning has definately killed my happy mood.

Goes to show how ERA can be a bit misleading as well. Two earned runs for Bush when Braun's should have been an error, and a bad hop single.

How is that not an error on Braun?

Cubs didn't want it to be an error, because then they knew Braun would hit a home run this game.

And a leadoff walk has nothing to do with melting down, especially when strike 3 was called a ball.

Dave Bush is no Cy Young, he's going to give up runs from time to time - he did well to avoid the inning getting worse than it already was...the game's tied and Dempster's pitching for the Cubs - I still like the Brewers' chances

That shouldnt have been a walk either way... Braun misplayed a ball in left, Hall misplayed a grounder... How isnt that defense? I know the ball hit to Hall was hard but still..
