Wolf isn't too great away from Petco, 6.63 ERA and .293 BA against. Hopefully the Crew can start hitting when there's RISP.

I know a lot of hitting with RISP is luck and it'll fluctuate, but it is frustrating when they're not getting too many hits in that situaton.

It looks like Wolf has been shelled his last 3 starts away from Petco, hopefully that'll continue and Suppan can give another solid start like in St. Louis. All I'm asking for is a tie going into the Cubs series, but a 1 game lead would be okay too http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

This would be a nice win going into the Cubs series, keeping the momentum going. Do we see Kendall sit today? It will be interesting to see who Ned puts out there.

Finally a game we start before the Cubs finish! I think we can keep this going and hope Marquis has a short outing against the Fish. I'd keep Soup on a short leash and maybe give McClung some innings.

Here is the Brewers' lineup against lefty Randy Wolf:

2B Rickie Weeks
SS J.J. Hardy
LF Ryan Braun
1B Prince Fielder
RF Corey Hart
3B Bill Hall
CF Gabe Kapler
C Mike Rivera
RHP Jeff Suppan

I'm liking Rivera getting som PT. Lets go crew, Big offenensive day today!!

why was JJ out of the lineup yesterday? I never heard any reasoning? Was it just to give him a day off/give Counsell a day on?

I give Ned a fair bit of credit for how he's using his bench talent. Your reserves need at least a LITTLE bit of playing time, otherwise they'll be rusty as hell down the stretch. Hopefully this translates into a strong push into the postseason while other teams wear themselves out.

I totally like Kapler and Rivera both in the starting lineup today. Well done Ned, Kendall could use a day off before the Cubs series and Cam hasn't hit at all the first two games of this series. I see another good day for Ryan and JJ today. Name me a hotter combo on a team in baseball right now, I cant.

Nice start for Soup tonight. It would be great if he finds his stuff again for the stretch run.
