In Play, run(s).

Well boys, it is up to you to keep pace. The Cubs bullpen can be had, the Mets just proved that tonight.

Glad to see Torres come in instead of Shouse facing a RHB.

Ummm Dale, there is this Lefty major power hitter on your bench that just happens to play 3rd base, perhaps you should have PH him there??

Isn't Gamel still out with a sore elbow?

He meant Branyan.

Mets win.....thanks for using your best bullpen guys Lou. At least Fredi Gonzalez understands the integrity of the game and has said he will use his regulars all series. You wanna talk about a possible death blow tonight. This is scary. A tie is not what I was hoping for after tonight's results, because of Lou deciding he wants to laugh in the face of the game of baseball.

Oh, Oh. Babe Pearce coming up.

Thanks for trying tonight Lou. Two-run lead with two outs in the 8th and he leaves the bottom of his bullpen in to try and close it out.

Brewers HAVE to win. If not the season is over.

Because the Mets look unbeatable?

Because our rotation is in shambles and we are still not hitting and we have to face Dempster and Lilly and.....want more?

Who the hell IBB's a guy to get to Beltran? Dumb
Force at every base, Delgado having a better year than Beltran.

I don't blame Lou for benching everyone, playing in that rain obviously increases the risk of an injury.

Thank you, Lou Pinella for screwing us over and using your garbage players.
First off, I believe Lou said he would be playing a similar line up tomorrow. Secondly, why in the world would any manager play their starters in those conditions when a playoff spot was wrapped up? If the Brewers were in that position, fans would want the manager's head if he played the starters.

The guy who was walked was Carlos Delgado, arguably the hottest hitter in the NL for the last many weeks.

At any rate, there is another thread for all this.
