. It also troubles me to read a comment from someone who thinks the show is better than another NBC show, but isn't watching it.

Sorry to trouble you but I am in grad school and have had Thursday night classes this semester. There are probably a half dozen shows that I would love to watch but that just isn't in the cards.

This just in from Perd Hapley... Parks and Rec was renewed for a full 22-episode 5th season by NBC. That is the news and the news is great.

Amy Poehler, Zach Galifanikis and Owen Wilson are in Winston-Salem filming some movie. Owen Wilson, especially, has been everywhere around town. the local game now is "find out where Owen Wilson is tonight." apparently he was at the same party i was at and i didn't know it.

Watched that this morning. Unreal how he kept going nonstop. And it actually sounded like a pretty decent plot, other than the whole ****SPOILER***** Marvel crossover stuff. But opening with Boba Fett hand's coming out of the Sarlacc would be sweet. As would the Robot Chewbacca.

So the season finale. I liked it. I think it would have been a great way to end the series. I wasn't a fan of the flash forward at the end but it looks like it is setting up the final season. With Leslie or Ben running for office.

I just watched the producers cut of the season finale and it got me thinking. What if that last scene is actually how the series ends? What if next season, and however many seasons are left, is just filling in the three year gap and the final episode ends the same way this past season's finale ends?

My guess is when they taped this season, they didn't know if it would be the final season or not.

that episode would have been a great Series Finale on its own. i just don't know what's left to build on since all the characters have accomplished their happy ending.
