I have to admit, I'm interested to see if Gomez and Escobar can take advantage of the huge ballpark.

Here's to hoping Sharpie can build on his last start and go 7 innings or so.

If that is the lineup it sucks. I know lineups don't' amount to much over the course of a season so any one game is pretty meaningless but why the heck is Gomez #2 and Counsell #6 when Macha somehow thought Counsell should be #2 with Edmonds #6 just a couple days ago? I guess #2 is the fast guy who can bunt spot in the order. Ugh.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

I'm fine with this, especially when you're talking about Gomez vs Counsell in the 2 spot. Gomez has 13 runs and is 6/6 on stolen bases and has sat out a significant amount of games 20 games into the season. I predict he will score tonight. His average has also been creeping up, .274 with on base at .318 which is pretty much the exact same as Escobar now. Not too long ago a bunch of people were complaining about how stupid it was to have Gomez #2 instead of Escobar. Again I'm not seeing much of a difference there either. I'm sure there are reasons why I'm wrong but again I predict Gomez scores some runs tonight.

Uh, actually the #2 spot is often the fast guy who can bunt spot. The leadoff guy gets on, the #2 guy bunts him over, occasionally getting a basehit.

Stevo]I think that's his point. The number two guy should be someone who can actually hit, not Gomez.

At this point in the season I think the only Brewer regulars who have a better average than Gomez are Braun, McGehe and Edmonds.

I think Gomez is #2 only because we are facing a lefty, otherwise they would be reversed.

I just want to win......if this lineup does it, then its a good one. If not, then I will see you all back here in about 3 hours to complain! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Petco is awesome, by the way, if any of you wanted to visit a stadium. Cheap, nice, new, and good people. LA, on the other hand, is the exact opposite of Petco! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Bad news if Edmunds and McGehee are both not available......we lose quite a bit of power.

Nascar costs the Crew a run. Frustrating.

Also, I really hope Corey and Davey can develop a little bit of chemistry. I can feel the forced, awkward interchanges from home. Ueck spoiled us.

Thats a silly way of playing baseball. Im glad Carlos got on. However, I too would have rather seen someone else hitting 2.

Eckstein gets nicked by a 69 MPH curveball.
And then runs as fast as he can to first......ugh.......that guy must be a great "clubhouse guy" because I just dont see it.

He's a gamer. And a battler. It's a wonder he's never worn a Brewer jersey.

Oh, just what I needed...a return dose of Eckstein hatred. I'd almost managed to block my memories of that guy.

Come on, Sharpie.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.
