Today's mail included my 10+1 pack tickets and parking passes!

 

Add in a couple of days in the 60s and we're getting close to the opener. . .

 

30 days. Thirty. Awesome.

Got my new work cell today. I swore after first getting a smart phone to use for completely free 22 months earlier, I'd never complain one iota about it. That honeymoon lasted about 18 months. This one is an infinite jump up from what I thought was an infinite jump up in 2010.

I just got my first smart phone. It's way smarter than I am, but it sure is helpful for business stuff. Between this and a new notebook with windows 7 in it, I'm like a technological marvel or somethin'.

I just butchered 130 wings. Making the marinade shortly.

 

Grilling out, watching hoops, and drinking good beer all day tomorrow.

I will be at Buffalo Wild Wings from 10:30 AM on Friday until about 11 PM with a group of 10-15 other guys. It is a great time watching all the games; playing poker, and of course eating and drinking. It is a blast; I think it was about $100 a head last year when the tab was totaled

that sounds awesome! My wife and I have done that in the past for the Final Four but an all-day extravaganza?? I'd love to do that!

 

I am surprised, however, that they allow you to play poker in their establishment.

Anchorman 2 is going to happen. Usually I'm not a fan of sequels but I have confidence and high hopes that this is going to be great.

Even I want to see Anchorman 2. After I (finally) saw Anchorman all the way through, there were so many wisecracks and quotes from this forum that I finally understood. :)

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

When I was a student at UW, there was a place on State St. that served Russian dumplings (pelmeni). It was my favorite place to go for food. Due to some arguments between the owners, the place closed, reopened, then closed again for good. Well, I discovered that the original owner has become a cook at a coffee place/deli in Fitchburg, and pelmeni are now available again. I went there for lunch today, and they were absolutely delicious.

I work as a civilian for the Air Force, and got news today that I was accepted for a Masters Program in Supply Chain Management through Syracuse University. Was up against anyone from the DOD who decided to apply. Includes 2 residencies at Syracuse, and a week long international residency in Singapore. The rest is virtual. Best part, because this is sponsored by a company, everything is free of charge. Travel/books/degree. A free Masters Degree, that's not bugging me.

Love the newish State Farm commercial with Kerry Wood pullling stuff out of the ivy. Awesome ending, though I don't want to ruin it for others who haven't seen it.

just saw a commercial that said Directv NFL Sunday Ticket is only $199.99 this season. Now that might seem excessive to some, but compared to the $349.99 price last year, this definitely does NOT bug me.
