2011-06-12 Cardinals (Westbrook) at Brewers (Marcum) - [Brewers win, 4-3, grab hold of first place with sweep]

[Oxy]

ELCABALLO45]What fluke hits

Jays first single was even flukier.

[Oldcity]

Wow Cards just pounding the ball... Not.

[umphrey]

Feeling OK about Marcum getting out of bases loaded 1 out here. He's pitching well, just need no more bad luck.

[Oldcity]

First legit hit they have this inning.

[pebadger]

Innings like this just make me sick. Marcum has done almost nothing wrong.

Edit: It is about on par for the luck/support Marcum has gotten lately though.

[Oldcity]

Fitting that someone like Jake Westbrook would baffle them after two great games in this series.

[MoreTrife]

if the Cardinals end up winning this game, they will be smug and say to themselves, "see, we're the better team."

[dlk9s]

Westbrook is really pitching a nice game. Everything is down and everything is tough to square up.

[Oldcity]

Man Saito might just never be able to pitch. Disappointing.

[pebadger]

I'm guessing this half inning will be better spent getting yesterday's yard waste ready for a trip to the compost site.

(Invoking reverse-jinx).

[Oldcity]

Good hit Hart... Now let's watch the black hole of the lineup screw it up.

[trwi7]

Betancourt needs to get off this team.

[MoreTrife]

very disappointing at bat yuni

[Oldcity]

Oh my God Betancourt is terrible.

[Funketown]

The cheering on Hart's double was unnecessarily loud. It probably really hurt the feelings of the Cardinals' players. You fans at the park really ought to be more conscious of the feelings of opposing ballplayers.

[ReverendBrewmeister]

Yuni hacks on 0-0. Have fun doing so in Nashville.

[cheesecup22]

Yuni is pathetic

[Oldcity]

Come on Lucroy break out of this slump.

[trwi7]

very disappointing at bat yuni

Disappointing or predictable?

[Funketown]

Yuni hacks on 0-0. Have fun doing so in Nashville.

How about Helena? Yuni's trying his hardest to end the "worst starting position player in baseball" debate. I'm really hoping his time here is nearing an end...

[ELCABALLO45]

Nice work Yuni and Lucroy.

[trwi7]

That's a great play by Betancourt?

[Oxy]

That was a heck of a play by Yuni.

[MoreTrife]

i know this has been beaten to death but i just can't can't the cardinals. it is an irrational hate. you know it is irrational when just looking at their faces irks you.

[tyguy20204]

Meh, Yuni didn't really have to do much there...
